Fun hotel for couple traveling

Posted May 31, 2015
We stayed at this hotel and it was amazing. The perfect location for a good nights sleep and a fun bar experience. Just a short walk to the temple bar and pubs in the area. Short walk to the bus station and Main Street as well. Restaurant attached to the hotel has excellent Mac and cheese.

Good location

Bathroom dated and seen better days. Shame as otherwise a good sensible priced central location hotel

Nice spacious rooms in a great location, although front facing rooms are terribly noisy.

Great location, but nearly impossible to sleep until all the party people left the area.

Hotel staff great. Lovely big room. room decor not great. But very clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast could have been hotter. Over all we had a good stay.

Cons: Internet
Good hotel, central location in Temple Bar- lots of street noise, but this is what you expect in this area. Staff were good and friendly. Only minus the internet signal in the hotel was poor- kept dropping when in use, annoying when trying to book flights.

It can be noisy at night time but thats what you get for staying in the temple bar area! Great location and very friendly staff, bring earplugs just in case :)

Central hotel.

First time in Dublin and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Hotel was centrally located for shopping and entertainment. Visited Dublin zoo which is about 20 minute walk outside the city, passing the Guinness brewery on the way. Hotel room was ok but noisy during the night and early morning. Bathroom could ideally do with an upgrade but with the change around of visitors won't happen. We didn't use the hotels facilities so can't pass comment. Overall a great time had with lovely food and plenty to drink.

Ideally situated in the heart of Dublin

Pros: Like I say, location, scale, helpfulness, an easy and convenient experience
Cons: Can't really think of anything.
Location: A couple of short blocks from the O'Connell Street Bridge, walking distance from just about everything.
Selected quite hastily at the last minute, the Temple Bar Hotel turned out to be just what we want in a city hotel: unpretentious, friendly, comfortable, centrally located, modestly priced.
