Decent hotel with lovely friendly staff

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, value for money
Cons: Softer pillows!
Location: Bus into city centre takes 10-15 minutes. Once in Dublin itself, most sights are an easy walk. We took a DART train out to Sandycove which was great
I used the hotel for a short break with my adult daughter. Our twin room was neat, clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities. The pillows were a little hard but the beds were comfortable. The hotel was good value for money, but be prepared to catch a bus or taxi into the city centre - it's a tad too far to walk. The LEAP card was convenient for commuting. The only downside was that the last bus out to the area of the hotel is at 11-30pm, so if you plan a wild night you will need a taxi back!

Although it rained and the hotel didn't have an extra umbrella, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Close to airport.

Pros: Room was nice. Restaurant in the hotel.
Cons: The internet didn't work in our room, but if we walked into the hall, we could get wireless. They did bring us up a cable.
We stayed here the night before our flight, and it was very convenient to the airport.

Good value

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: Nice TV, decent bar, breakfast buffet pretty good
Cons: Elevator, is there really a need for swipe key when discard ones are easily available in basement return box? Does not add much to security in my view
Location: Guinness St.James distillery, Malahide Castle, etc.
We picked this hotel due to relative proximity to the airport and other attractions.

Great hotel

Cons: I would recommend that the hotel add a regular shuttle service at a value price to get to city center and the airport.
The hotel is very nice and a great value. The location is a little less than ideal for getting in and out of city center, but the Dublin bus service is easy and there is a nice grocery store nearby.

A value for money budget hotel.

I arrived at this cosy hotel, first impression was the clean secluded underground car park with lift to reception. Abundant space to park considering the number of rooms in the hotel. The bed was clean and firm. The pillows are clean and firm too. There is a nice reasonably priced restaurant at the ground floor. The TV is plasma but could benefit with more channels especially cable channels as it only has local stations. All in all pleasant experience and courteous staff.

Satisfying Hotel- Better than a Travelodge!!

Posted Apr 26, 2014
Pros: Free Wi-Fi and its handy location (there is a TESCO and Burger King that you can walk to in about two minutes).
Cons: The shampoo and shower gel samples were a bit small, however, they were replaced once during our stay.
Location: This hotel is suitable for a city break to Dublin, and it is a suitable distance from the airport (i.e. not too close and not too far).
Cosy beds; visually-appealing room; regular room service and the essentials were provided (hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, coat hangers, kettle etc.). We didn't really use the TV so can't comment on that! The location is suitable for easy access to Dublin city centre: regular buses run from a stop that is more or less opposite the hotel. There is free Wi-Fi which is a big plus and the staff were sufficiently attentive.

Great breakfast!

Posted Apr 23, 2014
All you can eat breakfast with everything you could want for 9.5 euros. Couple of buses every 15 mins right next to hotel which get you to centre in 10 mins for 2.5 euros. Good bar. I'd stay there again for price I got (twin room 33 euros a night).
