Excellent central hotel. Second time I've stayed.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food and the hotel is very central and close to everything. This was my second visit to Dublin and to the Arlington. If I go again it will certainly be the Arlington again.

Lovely hotel close to everything

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location is perfect your made to feel welcome
Cons: We really cant fault the hotel at all,if I had to say one thing maybe paint the outside.
Location: I suppose the younger peope like to be over at temple bar but being that bit older we prefer the other side of the river
We have stayed at this hotel 3times now and never had any problems staff will go out of their way for you.The staff in the bar are excellent.

Nice hotel right in the city centre

Nice hotel right in the city centre so very close to main city attractions. The hotel is so close to all the nice places that you can walk everywhere. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs and you can listen to live music and eat good meal.Hotel is very clean and staff is extremly friendly and helpfull. We stayed there in June and the weather was suprisingly hot.The only truuble was that our room was getting quite hot.But I guess that thasn't happen too often to be that hot in Ireland.Overall a lovely hotel and I would definately recommend it to anyone.

Just as I thought! GOOD HOTEL!

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Convenience and price!
Cons: Staff hospitality and friendliness.
Location: Temple Bar...what else is there to add. Starbucks around the corner...right in the center of everything!
For the locaiton and price, it was exactly how I expected. Nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly, but don't ask for anything special. We called down for an iron several time over several day...always...it'll be right up. It never came. Desk staff never said hi/bye as we walked by, but whatever. The room was comfortable. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom and plenty of hot water. It will be load at night and the hotel bar does have live music, but so does every other pub/hotel in the Temple Bar. You pay for convenience and your just a stumble awat from the night life. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice hotel in the center of Dublin

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Great location - on the bank of the river, within walking distance of main attractions. Nice restaurant downstairs with Irish show. Reasonable price.
Cons: Room needs some renovation: curtain fell down when I touched it trying to close the window. People at the reception could be a bit more friendly.
Location: Dublin castle, Trinity college, The old Jameson distillery and many other attractions are in walking distance.
The hotel was easy to find and very convenient to reach from the Airport by Airlink bus (10 Euro for a round trip ticket). The bus stop is at O'Connell street, in just about 200m from the hotel. The hotel building seems to have some history. Knight's armor and moos' head displayed in the lobby inspire guests to take a lot of snapshots :) My room was small but clean enough. The room was on the second floor - right above the restaurant, and, so, it was a bit noisy: live music of Irish show can be heard almost till midnight (this didn't bother me much though). Breakfast is not included and costs 10 Euro ("full breakfast"), which seems to b reasonable. If you would like to see Irish show, you need to reserve a table near the stage in advance. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Right in the heart of Dublin

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: The location and the charm of the hotel.
Cons: The only problem we had was that it was a fairly warm day, the room on the 4th floor was hot. The window only tilted in about 3 inches, no circulation
The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, bars and the Temple Bar area of Dublin. The only problem with the area was trying to find somewhere to park, but that goes for a lot of places in Dublin.
