uber trendy Hotel!Posted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is beautiful and very modern and the delicious dinner couldn't be faulted! but I felt that it lacked nighttime atmosphere. also, We couldn't have wine by 1/2 bottle and I felt the full bottle was overpriced. The Prices in the Mini Bar in out Rooms were a joke. €3:45 for a mars Bar!!!!!

Huge disappointmentPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked this hotel because an overnight stay was necessary to avail of medical procedures in the adjoining hospital. Even though I had fully paid for the hotel in advance the hotel demanded a €50 deposit in advance. I had no intention of using any of their extra optional services. I refused to pay the deposit but the hotel wouldn't give me the keys to my room until I gave them my credit card details. No other hotel has ever treated me like this. It's also a very noisy hotel so unless you need hospital procedures go elsewhere.

Just off M50 - easy to findPosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Modern hotel with lots of quirky touches. Good food choices with Thai restaurant on site. Rooms spacious & comfortable but pillows neither hard nor soft. Fabulous bathroom with best shower ever and good toiletries supplied. Perfect location for our needs & within 10-15 minute drive of Dundrum Town Centre if shopping is on your agenda. Staff helpful and courteous. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend

The Beacon HotelPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Comfortable beds and, unusually, lightweight summer duvets.
A comfortable hotel, with good beds, so you get a good nights sleep. We'll be back.

Will stay againPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed in the Beacon last weekend, and will definitely go back. Lovely hotel, very modern and funky, but still comfortable. Ate in the restaurant on the Friday night and the food was lovely. Rooms were beautiful, with amazing bathrooms. One little thing - there was a DJ playing in the Lobby/Bar/Restaurant area on the Friday night, and even sitting at the back end of the restaurant we found it to be loud, and we are a yyoung couple - maybe turn it down a tad?!
