“Burlington Dublin”

Hotel was very comfortable and convenient. We cannot offer much insight about the restaurant. We only ate one meal there: Sun brunch. That was fine. We had only one unfortunate experience. When we booked, we asked for early check-in, knowing that we would be arriving after overnight transatlantic flight with little sleep. Hotel advised during booking that they were fully booked on the evening before, and may not be able to accommodate. Upon arrival, we had to wait for several hours. Nothing the hotel staff could do, and they did warn us in advance, so all that is OK. It's just unfortunate.

“Lovely Hotel”

I would thoroughly recommend The Burlington. The room was clean and comfy with everything that we needed. we had a late flight so it was brilliant that the Air Bus stopped right outside the hotel. It is within walking distance of all the sites and I enjoyed my stay there.

“Good value for 4 star hotel”

Good full service hotel. Airport bus stops right outside hotel! Room was not a bad size by European standards. Walking distance to city centre. I would stay here again.

“Very Accommodating”

Very nice hotel, convenient to everything. After flying through the night we arrived in Ireland at 6 a.m. and the hotel was able to get us in to our room when we arrived.

“Great Hotel”

Very nice hotel in a great location. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and allowed for easy travel around the city. You can easily walk to the city center. Everything was well taken care of and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We made good use of the business center.

“Met all expectations. Would like to return soon.”

The Burlington provided a spacious twin-double room in a quiet wing of the hotel. We appreciated the tea and coffe service in the room, the immaculate bath linens, hair dryer, etc. Staff were always helpful. We particularly liked being able to take tea or light meal in the lounge. It was an easy place to gather with friends. The hotel location provides easy access on foot or by bus to central Dublin and beyond.

“would go back”

Got a tip from a friend that the hotel was going out of business and might offer good rates. Got a great rate, but hotel seems to be functioning fine. The outside is ugly, but inside is nice. A bit outside the city. Ask about the bus around the corner.

“Amazing value and beautiful walk into Dublin”

We were told by a local that the hotel was bought out and slated to be torn down to be replaced by a 37 storey hotel, but, the city of Dublin refused the site plans. As a result the hotel has been renovated in many areas. The lobby, lounge and bar are beautiful. The prices of food and drink are very inflated but the lounge (like the rest of the hotel) has free wireless internet and very comfortable seats. The hotel is shaped like a giant U and only sets of elevators are at the bottom of the U. We were placed at the very furthest room from the elevators. You can see the sections at the top of the U are much more modern- both the carpets, lighting and walls change. The room was nice, everything was clean and it was a good size. Very typical of what you would see in a North American hotel room. The only complaint I would have about the room was the bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together. The only other negative thing I would say about the hotel is the reception staff never picked up the phone. We called down a couple times to figure out why our phone was not working and we had to call 4 or 5 times before someone would pick up. The next day we had to call down for something else and again the phone was ignored. Distance to Dublin: It is a nice walk into Dublin I would say about 15 minutes, but, it is lovely. The first little bit is along a busier street but then you hit St Stephen's Green and walk through the glorious park.
