Modern Hotel with Flair
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: Modern!
Cons: Location
Location: It's near the canal but to far to walk back from DT if you want to be Temple Bar in the evening. A quick cab ride though :)
This hotel is modern and has all the bells and whistles! High recommend if you want to check out the water front and the canal in Dublin!

Hidden Gem in Dublin City Centre
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: Big, clean rooms.
Location: Slightly outside of city centre, but very located right next to public transport to both city centre and airport.
This hotel is a hidden gem. It is slightly outside the main Dublin city centre, so you may overlook it. I actually think this is a perk though. The hotel is very modern, new and clean, and the rooms are extremely spacious. In addition, the location is very convenient. The hotel is right next to a Luas Red Line stop, and I never had to wait more the 5 mins for a tram. The tram takes you into the city centre within 10 mins, so usually within 15 minutes of leaving the hotel, you are in Dublin city centre. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I HIGHLY recommend staying there if you want to stay in the Dublin City, and I plan to go back.

Fantastic Hotel, good food and great location for Rugby at the Aviva Stadium and a short Luas tram journey to the centre of town

Excellent

Pros: The convienience was my favourite
Cons: its far from most attractions
Location: My only reason for staying here was because it was close to the O2
Very nice hotel near teh O2 Concert Venue in Dublin. The hotel is also very modern and has free wifi. Room was very comfortable although too warm in the morning time. It was also noisy when I arrived. I could hear music from my room it seemed like there was a band on in the bar. Overall a very nice hotel and also its right opposite the Luas which was very handy to get into town. Although the price was expensive I would stay here again if I was to attend a concert in the O2 as its very convienient for that.

Smart business hotel on the docks
Posted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: Clean and modern hotel with comfortable rooms and free wifi
Cons: Bar food a bit pricey
Location: Right on the dock next to the O2. Surprisingly convenient for the airport via the toll tunnel
This is a very smart modern hotel next to the docks. The staff were friendly and helpful, my only criticism would be that the bar food was a bit pricey although excellent quality.

Weary travellers

Pros: loved the chic contemporary decor. Rooms were VERY spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Food in the menu in restaurant was great.
Cons: nothing
Location: Very close to ferry terminal which is why we chose this hotel. The hotel itself and staff made up for the lack of pleasant scenery in the area!
REALLY nice wide open, contemporary reception area. Staff were excellent in all areas of the hotel including the lounge where our waitress was run off her feet due to a function that was taking place. Rooms were the nicest I have ever seen. Very spacious with lovely contemporary decor. Fabulous ending to our month long travels in France, Scotland and Ireland.

Nice hotel in Dublin

Nice, quiet hotel in Dublin. Staff were very nice. Hotel is the last stop on the Luas Red line and it's easy to get into City Centre. It's also a great walk along the Liffey into town. Airport bus stops down the street. Rooms were very quiet and clean.
