Great hotel on a budgetPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: price is wonderful
Cons: Should offer free shuttles daily, hourly to Luas train and perhaps pickup from Luas
Location: Next to major restaurant and gas station with sandwiches and chips and coffee inside
Pro's: All the staff was exceptional and beyond helpful during our stay, we especially liked Terry the driver. We opted for a private pickup from the airport that was 45euros. Staff called tour companies to book our day tours. Hotel breakfast was 10euros, included omelet, poached eggs, stewed tomatoes, potatoes, sausage, cereals, fruit, juices and coffee. Con's: Bathroom tub sits pretty high so I wouldn't recommend someone staying here if they have problems lifting their legs high. Although we did not mind, the walk from the hotel to the Luas(metro train) is about 20 minutes on a walkway which is part of a major highway. Some portion at night is very dark since about four lights are out on this path. Although its dark, we never felt we were in any harm. The hotel offers shuttle to Luas on weekends only for 3 euros only. Luas day ticket with unlimited stops is about 7 euros a person which is worth it. You take the luas to the "Abbey" exit which is right after "Jervis" which takes you to City Centre. Overall we enjoyed our time and highly recommend visiting this hotel and Dublin

Best value in DublinPosted Jan 25, 2015 on Hotels.com
Stayed for 3 days on business with an overseas colleague. Have stayed here often, and is by far the best value for money in town. Nice bar with limited dinner range, but you have the added real advantage of JOELs connected. Its good for our business as many calls are on periphary of town, but also situated just off motorway,. Thought the new flyover might be a hinderance, but, while not yet finished, one hardly notices the flyover, and there is certainly NO noise issue. Shuttle to LUAS very helpful if you need it

New Year StayPosted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: The bedrooms. Clean & comfortable
Cons: Lots of little things. Claims to be a 4 Star hotel. It felt like a three star at best. Annoying echo in lobby and bar.
Location: I was visiting friends in Naas, Clondalkin & Dublin so the location was perfect for me.
Rooms were great and maid was friendly, efficient and cleaned the room superbly. However the hotel was noisy due to too many young noisy wedding reception attendees, several nights in a row. The staff were efficient and friendly. The bar was adequate, but had no nuts etc for sale. The corridor drink sweet machines were nearly empty most of the time. (Maybe because of all the new year parties) The main entrance door door became stuck and remained difficult to open for several days. So generally, comfortable rooms, an adequate place to stay, but no better then that!
