Great new hotel in DublinPosted Sep 14, 2014
I loved the design and facilities of the hotel, which was what drew me to this hotel in the first place. However, I was disappointed that because of a private event, the rooftop bar was inaccessible. The hotel staff are really helpful and the rest of the hotel looked really modern yet classy. The rooms are a nice size, with really comfortable furniture and amenities. The bathroom seems to be wheelchair access friendly as well. Free wifi is available, and it's pretty fast. Love the interior designs of the hotel and the location itself is really nice, being right next to the docks. The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre is right next door as well, so you can take a look at what shows are playing the night of your stay to see if you can catch a show.

The experience was great overall, the only area for improvement is that the pillows were very uncomfortable (firm) but perhaps that's a matter of preference. Would recommend overall!!

Quiet locationPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Peaceful location near canal basin and river. Great roof-top bar with amazing views. Great bathroom.
Cons: More drawer space - only two shallow office type drawers in study desk.
Did not realise distance from centre so got very wet walking to the hotel from where airport shuttle bus dropped us off. Taxi from airport to hotel advisable at approx. £18.00. Did not eat in the hotel but plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast and a few for evening meal options or back into the city centre.

Marker Hotel--Top Quality in DublinPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
We stayed at the Marker for four nights in August as part of an excursion to watch the Croke Park Classic American Football Match between Penn State and UCF. From beginning to end, the quality of the service and staff at Marker was top-notch. Breakfasts were delicious, the rooftop bar has a great view of the city, and the rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom in our room had a musty smell--when we told the front desk about it, they were very apologetic, moved us to another room, and gave us two complimentary glasses of wine. The hotel is very modern and lively, with a good vibe. We would definitely recommend the Marker.

New hotel in the docklands area of DublinPosted Sep 1, 2014
Cons: Completely satisfied
Location: Location next to the theatre, riverside restaurants and walk ways. Quite away from the city centre but worth the walk. Use green hip on hop off bus.
Wonderful hotel, staff and facilities. Staff very attentive without being over powering. Front desk very good, front door staff excellent, waiters and waitresses lovely. Highly recommend this hotel would definitely stay again!

Excellence at The MarkerPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Lighter corridors
Stayed at The Marker for 3 nights midweek and were very impressed. The hotel is very modern, though the corridors are a little dark. Rooms are extremely comfortable, breakfast buffet is excellent but the best thing about the hotel is the staff, who were unfailingly friendly, helpful and efficient.
