Shocking stuff in all honesty.Posted Mar 3, 2014
Could hear every single car pass. Walls paper thin. Guy next door was sneezing and could hear it clearly. Heard every word he said on the phone. Could hear doors slamming from all hours of the morning. 3 in the morning a group of people absolutely battered each other for bout half an hour and no security came. No chance of ever staying there again

Great for the airportPosted Feb 20, 2014
Arrived very late due to atrocious weather so in fairness didn't really get a chance to enjoy the facilities. Staff were excellent, both helpful and friendly. Sandwiches and pizza served to late but as we didn't fancy this a selection of take away menus were produced and we were fed. (Thanks receptionist. ) An early start for flights so again no chance to enjoy the facilities. Hotel offers parking and shuttle to airport. €4 per day and €4 return for shuttle. Pre-booked parking at the airport worked out €12 cheaper for our party and had the advantage that it was only 45 mins from the wheels touched down until we were in the car on the way home. All said a pleasant experience.

Hotel close to airportPosted Feb 15, 2014
The room was freezing cold. No heating in the bathroom because it was turned off. Asked to fix it, I was brought a small heater that was of no use. Result : caught a cold !!

Weekend in DublinPosted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: The bar/restaurant has an open feel & the staff was friendly & helpful.
Cons: Bedside outlets for cell phones to be used as alarm clocks.
Location: The bus 4 stop was nearby. It was quick back to the airport & by bus, convenient to downtown.
We found this hotel on one of the travel sites. It's draw was the price & proximity to a major bus route. I booked 2 rooms - one for single occupancy, one for double. The double room had water & chocolates, the single did not - even though they were both booked in my name as a package deal. We knew to expect a return to the airport shuttle fee because of other reviews. Overall, there were no surprises with this stay.

Staff excellent and a very enjoyable stay.Posted Feb 8, 2014
It was nothing like the reviews I read on lime. The room was warm, clean and very big. It had all the services. The staff were very helpful and polite. Would stay there again.

My stay at the Metro HotelPosted Jan 5, 2014
Location: the location in Ballymunn is a bit grim but Ballymunn is being regenerated with EU funding. I went to a local cinema omni complex and watched a movie
it was great and not very expensive, about 50 quid for one night. Only one small criticism, a free shuttle bus to the airport would have been appreciated.

Convenient to airport , friendly staffPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Street noise is a problem. Bar doesn't open until 4 (at least in November). Distance from Temple Bar is long -- taxi was about 14 euro. Staff is excellent -- helpful, obtained a taxi quickly, responded promptly to minor electrical problem, offered space heater because room was cold (heat is on a timer and it was a cold day), shuttle driver took us to the terminal on request rather than dropping us at the hotel coach lot as he was supposed to do. This was our second overnight stay before flying out of Dublin and would stay there again despite issues cited above.
