“Awesome Hotel”

This hotel is the nicest hotel I've stayed in while in Ireland. The bed was the best and staying on the top floor access to unlimted water and wonderful mixed coffees and cookies was a great treat. The staff in the hotel and resturant down stairs were top notch. The hotel was located across from the train station and a star bucks just down the road lots of nice places to eat and the close waterway was wonderful to sit by and have lunch or dinner and the little pubs and dinners. Would stay again!!

“Great service, great prices”

We really enjoyed this hotel, they had great service, the rooms were clean and not too small, and the location was very convenient to the bus station, train station, and all the places we wanted to go.

“I would definitely stay at this hotel again”

Very well located. Really easy walk into the main hustle and bustle of Temple Bar, and enough out of the way so one is not disturbed in the early hours. Our premium room was perfect - well looked after/modern/TV/good shower (very important!) and hairdryer.

“Lovley Hotel”

This hotel was well situated in the heart of Dublin City. It was across the road from the train station and a 1 min walk to a taxi rank also. The staff were lovely people that would go out of to make you their way feel welcome. My room was a beautiful modern room with a balcony. I will be back again. Value for money and a bargan hotel in Dublin.

“Unexpectedly A Great Place to Stay”

When I saw that this hotel was right across from the train station I was worried that there would be a lot of noise. I can happily say I did not hear a single train from inside my room. The views are not great but the room was nicely furnished, very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge was fantastic. Having him there to help was worth staying at the North Star. Not only did he get us directions to an obscure place we wanted to visit, I witnessed him go above and beyond the call of duty while helping several other people with everything from Bruce Springsteen concert tickets to rental cars. Our room did not include breakfast but we did eat breakfast at the hotel. It offered a good selection, fresh food and a reasonable price for a hotel breakfast. I would stay there again.

“North Star in Dublin = 5 stars!”

We were making a fast weekend trip to Dublin for the U2 concert this summer. This hotel turned out to be EXACTLY perfect for our needs and Trina on staff was a gem, assisting us on our arrival and showing us how we could WALK to the concert from the hotel! The hotel is stylishly appointed and comfortable and the reception staff are all very helpful. Additionally, we were able to walk easily to see the river and the Temple Bar area, as well as take the LUAS train (convenient with the station across the street!) over to do the Guiness Tour. Taxis were also always available at the train station so we were able to get where we needed to go almost effortlessly! The Residents' Lounge was also a very nice feature at the end of the evening after the pub closed and we wanted to stay up and be social for a bit longer. Thank you everyone @ the North Star!

“North Star Hotel - Dublin”

Our room was very clean and spacious enough for my family (2 adults and a five year old) the room was maintained everyday to a very high standard. The McCoys bar serves excellent bar food. The breakfast room is pleasantly decorated, clean and was plenty of choice which was all excellent quality Overall this hotel was excellent value for money its no 5 star hotel but its never advertised to be, but none the less it was a pleasant base to explore Dublin.

“Excellent value”

stayed in the North Star for one night. Excelelnt value and we stayed in one of the premier club rooms. Very nice room, large bed, large flat screen tv, mini fridge with complimentry water. There was a nice balcony as well. We stayed in the hotel as we were going to a concert in the O2. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to conerts at a price of only 7 euro. Great sevice and staff were very frinedly. The hotel is right opposite Connolly station so it is in a great location for sightseeing, shopping, events in the O2 and travel links to elsewhere. I would definitly stay here again!!

“Loved it!”

The hotel had a great atmosphere. We arrived around 9:30 a.m. after an all-night flight and the staff got us into our room right away, which was much appreciated. Our room was near the train tracks, so on the few occasions that we were in our room during the day, there was some train noise, but it wasn't overwhelming. By the time we went to bed, the trains weren't running anymore, or not very frequently, so it was never a problem to fall asleep. We loved the decor and the feel of the hotel. Much more fun to stay here than in a chain hotel.
