Lovely hotel in the outskirts of Dublin but extremely easy to get to the City Centre by public transport. Very warm welcome at the reception and the bar. I’ve been vegan for years and disappointed there wasn’t a vegan option on the dining menu, a simple pasta vegetable option which vegetarians can eat as well would have been nice. No plant based butter at breakfast. I would recommend using this hotel if you’re travelling around Ireland and you don’t want the hassle of driving into Dublin • A wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful hotel with great front desk staff. They were more than helpful with questions on the surrounding area and directions. Our room was spacious, with comfortable beds and linens. Most importantly, the whole hotel is clean!!! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Free on-site parking. I suggest getting the breakfast deal with the room rate, it's well worth the price. They have a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast items on their buffet. We had great dinner service in the hotel restaurant with reasonable prices and good portions. Downtown Dublin is a short drive away. They are located close to TU Dublin, Tallaght Campus and The Square, a multi-level shopping mall with several stores. Both within a few minutes walking distance. The mall parking garage has a small self-laundry facility located on the ground level. With the Plaza's great service and convenient location, it is an ideal spot to be close to downtown but out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The area is quiet at night, and we felt safe in walking late at night. We would definitely stay here again.

The bedroom was nice ,bathroom looked a bit dated ,mould around bath .beds were comfy. Bar service was slow due to only 1 member of staff on ,same for food service ,the two of them were rushed off there feet,food was nice . deffo would stay here again. Also free car park which is getting very rare in hotels .

Hotel is fantastic, can’t fault it at all,but was taken ill on my first night and had to call an ambulance from my room, did call down to reception but no answer, after I was released from hospital no one from the hotel bothered to check if I was ok and left a day early because of my health but was told I was too late to cancel the night

The hotel is nice and modern food is good (limited menu though) Biggest issue is that restaurant has issue with charging to the room. I stayed 4 nights and every night they asked "did you pre-charge your credit card at reception" even though I had done that on the first night. not sure what the issue is, but this is the first time I had this kind of problems with any hotel and it made it a very awkward experience when asking for the bill as almost felt like a criminal who might run without paying, which is not a nice feeling.

Great location.
Hotel is in the perfect location with great links to the city. Hitel has had a big transformation since our last stay here. Rooms are modern , with plently of space and storage. Only thing that lets the room down (only a little) is the bathrooms have not been renovated , and with the rusty plugs , cracked tiles and broken loo roll holder it doesnt match the newness of the room. Room was clean apart from the head board which was covered in a thick layer of dust along the top which we cleaned ourselves. The duty manager at the time of check in was quite rude and didnt say a word or bother to look up from the PC while sort the key card etc , the young lady behind the desk however was polite and seemed somehwhat embarrased.

The hotel was in a great location for access to local amenities. The transport links were easy and close by, both for the airport shuttle and trams. The hotel restaurant (cafe) served very high quality and good value meals. We will return!

Perfect for a weekend break
We booked The Plaza for a girls weekend in Dublin. It suited our needs perfectly. It is a half hour tram ride into the city which was very easy to do and the reception team explained it all to us on arrival. The team were extremely welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Rooms were tidy at all times. I would recommend the plaza to friends and family and would stay again when I next visit the city!

Lovely welcome from the receptionist. Nice clean room and very specious. Cleaner everyday. Big dining area and every breakfast tastes catered for. Lounge bar and diner in the evenings. Bit of a hike to bus stations and the Luas (tram). What an excellent service that is. Every 8-10 minutes. Most stations named after what you want to see. Museum/museum. Hispital/hospital and so forth. Two lines green and red. We got all day travel for both lines. €5.80 all day. Lot of walking in city centre. Loved it.

The hotel only appears to have double beds in their rooms. Even though the rooms are quite large they could easily accommodate a king size bed. The double bed was so small unfortunately it made sleeping very uncomfortable. Also, there was a wedding on the Friday night and another function on the Saturday night so was a lot of noise from music in our room.

Served our purpose well
We used this hotel as a base to visit family in Dublin. It served our purpose very well. Warm welcome on arrival. Secure, free under ground parking. Nicely renovated rooms. We didn’t eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the restaurant but otherwise very happy with the hotel.

Convenient location
Convenient location for us and it was a reasonable price. Didn’t realise when booking that breakfast was not included but that was totally my fault for not checking. We eat in the bar downstairs and the food and service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Great to have parking included.
