NOT SO HAPPY
Posted Jan 22, 2013
The first room had a standard bed, we kept falling off the bed. we got to swtich rooms the following day. We got the perfect bed and room. Well we thought so, the security guard and other popele were socializingin the middle of the night for hours, they were lauighing and joking. We finally called the front desk and it stopped for about an hour, than it stated again. I got NO sleep both nights. And the pillows are super hard.

Nice location

Pros: Size of my room
Cons: Thin walls
Location: Far from city centre, but worth it
I read some of the other reviews, and was worried about what to expect. I don't know what some people were talking about, this hotel is nice! If you choose this hotel, you already know that it is far away from the city center. My room was large and clean. I had a nice view and the heat worked amazingly. It was not far from the tram; about a 10 min walk if you cut through the mall; 15 min max. Long tram ride, but the price makes it worth it. The cafe was okay, you have to try the hot chocolate. The staff was nice and answered my questions. Word of advice, there is a shuttle bus that goes to Tallaghat and the airport and some other places in between if you don't want to take a taxi. I didn't know this before hand and paid about 40 euro. I believe it is called airport hopper if you want to check it out. Resonable price. It is about 20 euro to get from hotel to city center. The mall is nice size with different food options and a movie theatre. Don't let the location be a factor. The tram is really inexpensive and the hours aren't too bad. The walls were a little thin and you can hear your neighbors, but I didn't hear anything from downstairs or the bar. I didn't feel unsafe walking at night and I am a female and went alone.

Pros: Quiet and peaceful
Cons: Could use more than one lift.
Location: Great location, lots of shops and restuarants nearby.
The hotel staff where very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was handy for travel as it was close to the motorway and the luas(metro).

Not for light sleepers
Posted Jan 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The noise from the road outside made it difficult to sleep and when I awoke from my sleep in the night I panicked I had slept through my alarm as the lights which light up the building outside made it look like it was daylight, I then struggled to get back to sleep because of the noise. The remote in the room did not work and there were burn marks on the bedside table. The main restaurant was closed even though it was valentines night and the hotel was full (I had asked to move rooms to one at the back but as the hotel was full they could not move me). The food at the bar was good even though they got my order wrong and so was the "black stuff" which was a consolation.

Central for M50
Posted Jan 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Most Hotels are suffering at the moment in Ireland. Location is practically in the Sqare Shopping mall in Tallaght. Convenient to M50 for airport and south east, also close to Naas Road for heading to south west. Staff were always helpfull even though slightly overworked due to lack of numbers. Room was well presented, clean , comfortable but the decor is aging slightly. watch out for the night club in the hotel and make sure your room is well away. A good hotel. This was our third stay. Would stay again. Their prices were good. The menu is a limited one. Other two stays food was very good , this time it was just about good. Safe parking under the hotel and it is free.

Nice place

The only complaint I had was the noise early in the morning after an all night party of some sort. Loud talking in the hallway and yelling outside woke me up at 3:30 am. Other than that, I was fairly happy with my experience. Helpful front desk staff and the pub has fantastic food!

The weather was very cold but I had to sleep with the radiator turned off due to the horrendous noise of hissing, and spurting coming from it. The TV remote control was so old I could not see the icons to operate it. The bedside lamp shades were tatty with holes in them.
