“Comfortable, near downtown, but still away from it all”

Comfortable hotel, nice staff. The hotel was well maintained, and the hotel bar, while a little sleepy, was very nice. Wireless internet works only in the downstairs area. Room was cozy (definitely European) but very well maintained and felt clean. A little far from downtown (about 15 minutes by bus) but it's in a nice calm area, and is still definitely in Dublin. A great choice.

“Brilliant!!!”

The Regency Hotel is located about, literally, 10 minutes by Dublin Bus from city centre if that is where you want to spend most of your time. It is right on the main road, the N1-Drumcondra Road, that links the airport and city centre, so catching a bus which is either the 41, 3, 16, or 16a busses to city centre or to the airport is no problem at all!! You will be staying in the local area of Whitehall which is home to some great places like The Ivy House and Fagan's pub... It's an easy walk to Croke Park and about a 25-30 minute walk to city centre. You'll get to walk past some of the city shops and pubs...there are Spar stores everywhere for conveniences. Dublin City University and the Helix Theatre are just about a 15 or 20 minute walk away... The restaurant boasts great food and lots of Guinness on tap so no worries... the staff are ALL friendly and knowledgeable about the area and very professional. There is internet access in the lobby for 1 euro for about 10 minutes of internet time. This is a great spot in Dublin and I will probably stay there again on my next trip to my favorite city in the world! Beannacht de leat agus sláinte!

“Can't wait to go back!”

Great Hotel. We were in Dublin for two nights ... girls weekend! Went to Temple Bar on the first night which was fab but on the second night, stayed in the hotel as it was jumping ... had an amazing time! Would definitely stay in this hotel when back in Dublin!

“Best for business travel”

I went there for business travel. I found it very confi and people very cheerful and helpful. Good tasty food, however, they could do bit more variety but its ok. The gym facility is a great bonus. Definately recommend to everyone.

“Favourite hotel”

Anything we needed was dealt with instantly and in a friendly way. Use of the health club is free for guests. Lots of local shops and restaurants and you can either walk if you're feeling lively or bus it into the city centre.

“comfortable with good breakfast”

Nice old hotel between the city centre and airport. Pub food is decent. Rooms are clean. One drawback: don't expect a hot shower after 9:30am.

“Excellent customer service”

Excellent customer service: hotel staff is very friendly and service oriented. Very good location, easy access to city centre, bus station was accross the street with buses running every 5-10 minutes.

“Would stay there again”

The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was good value for money with a very wide selection of food, it was a good start to the day. It was very convenient for the centre of Dublin, just a short bus ride away and a good location for the airport. View over the Wicklow Hills were good.

“Convenient and nice”

This hotel was right off the airport bus line, which was very convenient for us. The place has old world charm - and elevators! The staff was friendly and eager to help make our stay pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for those not comfortable at the B&Bs.
