“We loved it!”
great location, clean rooms. Excellent staff.
“Needs changes to be 5 Star”
Everything was perfect except for two problems: 1) Roof leaked in Lobby during heavy rains (buckets in Lobby) 2) Having instant coffee in room is not 5 Star quality - should have Nespresso machine or equivalent
“Very Impressed & recommended Dublin Hotel”
The Shelbourne Dublin was an amazing hotel. My entire family was very impressed and would rebook our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was in the middle of Dublin and accessible by walking distance to all sites. My family strongly recommends this hotel if you intend to stay in Dublin.
“A lovely place”
This was a beautiful hotel and the staff were most helpful. The room and hotel were clean and kept to perfection. The only thing that was a problem was the coffee service in the morning was really not a good situation. You had to wait until they brought out this machine which brewed one cup at a time. It took a long time for each cup and at the end the coffee was reallly bad. For the price of the room you would think they would improve on the situation. Also only one comfortable chair in the room.
“Old world charm with nice updates”
Friendly and helpful staff (with the exception of the person who was staffing the Heritage lounge.) Beautiful room with great view (in Heritage wing). Grand bathroom--nicer than any other hotel I've stayed in.
“A great stay”
Hotel was recently remodeled, rooms are larger, and the bathrooms very large with separate soaking tub and shower. One feature that I never encountered prior was a towel rack that has hot water running thru it so your towel is dry and warm!
“100% great”
Superb
“Dublin's old world charmster”
The Shelbourne is an historic hotel right on St. Stephen's Green. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including the shopping mall on St. Stephen's. it is blocks from Grafton St. and the National Museums. The staff are lovely and happy to see Americans. We'll go back again.
“Wonderful Hotel”
The Shelbourne is a wonderful hotel. Service was excellent on all levels: check in, room service, doorman, concierge, and bar staff - always helpful and kind. The location is perfect. Near everything and on most pick up stops for day tours. The rooms clean, comfortable and fairly spacious.
“Judith E Pietroski”
Found the hotel to be centrally located and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable and spotless. Would definitely stay there again or recommend to a friend.
