Immaculate, modern hotel for couples break

Posted Feb 23, 2015
I treated my partner to a trip to Dublin for his 30th and chose the Spencer as our hotel choice. I am so glad we did, it was beautifully decorated, spotless, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the overall experience was pure luxury. Can't wait to return for my 30th!

An excellent hotel with a fantastic restaurant! A little out of the centre but I Really enjoyed my two night stay with a friend. Most staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Clean Hotel in Nice Location

Posted Feb 18, 2015
We stayed here for 1 night and got upgraded to a suite for no charge. The room was amazing and had a fantastic view. This hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Temple Bar area and is very close to the local public transportation. The staff were also very nice.

Lovely hotel with great facilities

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Very professional orientated hotel. Lovely finish and room was very comfortable and had nice finishing touches. Isn't too far a walk to the city centre and its nice to walk along the river anyway. Spa facilities were an added bonus- made for a relaxing stay!

A great hotel, great location

The hotel decor is amazing. The room was great; great facilities e.g. bathroom, beds, tv. Can't fault the staff either. Within walking distance to the centre and other tourist locations.

A great all-rounder

Posted Jan 7, 2015
We spent a long weekend in this hotel and we loved every minute of it. Our room had a view of the river which we loved! A stylish & clean room with a very comfortable bed. Relaxing in the spa facilities after a long day walking around Dublin was just what we needed. The location of the hotel is great, so close to all the shops and restaurants. But if you don't want to go out the hotel's restaurant is amazing, the food so full of flavour and fresh - all East inspired food, I had Thai red curry. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great time.

Great stay in Dublin

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: We could't get Internet on the 7th floor. We were offered to move to another floor but we really didn't want to pack and unpack again.
Location: The italian restaurant across the sidewalk is amazing. The city centre is just a 10 min walk away. While not that close, it offers peace and quiet.
This place has the most wonderful staff. Everyone is nice and attentive. The rooms are very clean and modern, also very comfortable.

Pleasant 4 Star Hotel - bit out of the way

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: I liked the cleanliness and the overall look and feel of the hotel.
Cons: Front desk staff needs a course or two in hospitality and customer service.
Location: Located in the modern "financial district", it's not next to most the attractions. This probably helps with keeping the noise down though.
Traveled in winter and over the Xmas period. Hotel was very well cleaned and decorated for the holidays, which indicates attention to detail and to the experience of the traveler. Hotel maid service was excellent. Hotel front desk staff was barely attentive. The worst thing I can say about the hotel is that it is a bit off the beaten path and away from most sites and hotspots. However, it is on the light rail stops (the Luas) and is a quick ride over to the train station, shopping, Temple Bar, and the like.
