Worn out HotelPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Nice bay view and beach.
Cons: Just as mentioned.
Location: Beach and bay view.
The room was OK when it comes to cleanliness, but the electronic keycard lock was out of order, so all the door was closing and holding "locked" was a separate key lock with a lever lock style key similar to one you'd use for a pad lock/ garden shed, basically a very simple lock probably anyone could have been open with a rusty bent nail. Thru to this I felt very insecure and unsafe in the room overnight, especially because the fire escape door was just close to the room, and was open most of the time for anyone walking in passing the Hotel.

Rundown hotel, great location.Posted Jul 19, 2015
This hotel is in a great location right on the beach. The views are wonderful and the nature surrounding you is a great plus. It's very close to the airport ( 8 mins) but it is pretty rundown. It's like it was once a nice place and they just gave up. The front door was so worn that people were having difficulty opening it. The carpets are worn, the bathroom had very dirty grout and signs of prior leaks. The room was ok but dated. Bed was clean which was nice. It looks much nicer on Expedia then in person overall. The staff was polite and helpful the place just needs a remodel. But again, the location is just gorgeous. Almost makes up for it but it's very rundown. 2 star hotel 5 star views and location.

Nice place to stay. If you want quiet and be near a train to spend the day in Dublin, this is the place to stay.

Room with a viewPosted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Lots of local - great people stop in and I really enjoyed their company. We played a few games of pool, interesting talks, sang some songs great time
Location: Not far from town center, Swords / Pavilion shopping center, less than 25 minutes to airport (complimentary hotel shuttle)
Of the ocean that is! Absolutely beautiful! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable - was told when I left the beds were all replaced the week before - very nice. Hotel has it's own restaurant(s) and bar, outside seating overlooking the ocean! Friendly, helpful staff.

Beautiful castle hotelPosted Jun 20, 2015
The castle is absolutely amazing! The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. The hotel did a great job keeping the feel of the castle time period appropriate while providing all the modern comforts you need. The staff was super friendly and helpful here and are totally willing to go the extra mile to make your stay amazing. Definitely go here if you get the chance, you will not regret it!

Great spot.Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: The location was A-1.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Came directly from and airport and returned there the next morning. The beach was very important to my enjoyment.
This hotel has charm - the water-views don't hurt either. Location, location, location. Enjoyed a great walk on the beach after a loooong flight. The food was just what I wanted - Irish cuisine. The people were most friendly; on the beach, in the restaurant, and the staff.
