Ok accommodations

Bad location. Sketchy area of Dubin. The rooms were ok but not too clean. Would not recommend this place.

Pros: The staff, the walking tour, the art.
Location: Excellent! The hotel is just a few blocks from the main touristic attractions.
The staff were very helpful and the accommodations very good. The best thing is that this hotel is easily accessible from the airport by bus.

Good stay, excellent location

Posted Jul 19, 2014
This place has very nice and accommodating employees. The location is excellent; you can walk to just about anywhere. There was no air conditioning (no other B&B did for that matter either) which required that we keep the window open at night and allow street noise and the cry of seagulls to awaken us at night. That wasn't a problem for us. My only suggestion would be for them to provide better curtains in the bathroom to prevent being fish bowled at night. Otherwise, all was good-roomier than most B&B's and more space to hang out.

Cheap and more than adequate but not the best area

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: price
Cons: ironing board and iron in the room instead of laundry room in basement
Location: locall colleagues were aghast I was staying in this part of town. They were actuially worried for my safety.so I didn't venture far.
nice hotel in not a nice part of town. - clean, friendly and cheap but not the safest part of Dublin

Decent location, NOT clean

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Good location, although busy street walking, but close to some quaint artsy areas.
Cons: Cleanliness.
It was a pretty decent location, an easy walk to things we wanted to see and the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The room, however, was not clean. The linens seemed clean, which is important, but there was a LOT of other guests' hair and stuff on the floors -- including someone's spilled medication. eww. The dining room was pleasant enough, but we weren't impressed with the quality of the food -- not that it was terribly expensive, but really disappointing in comparison to the offerings at other locations we stayed during our trip.

Good location. Could use a good cleaning.

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Very friendly staff, very helpful with all our needs. We couldn't ask for a better location. It felt safe and homie. Breakfast was a bonus.
Cons: Ensuring clean rooms. Bundle the spare duvets and mattresses in plastic before storing them in the garage. Clean the kettles in the rooms.
Location: Close to shopping, site seeing and buses. O'Shea's across the road is also a bonus.
The hotel is an old, quaint place with much to offer. It has a good atmosphere, great location and very helpful, friendly staff. Our room was not clean. None the less, the beds are very comfortable and the room was very cute. It just needed a good cleaning.

B & B, next to hostels

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Overall good experience. Good location in terms of access to transportation - near laus and train station. There is also an airlink stop down the block. It is also centrally located. There are several hostels on the same block so it gets noisy- we were ok with the noise level most nights (we left windows open through the night). Staff is friendly and helpful (mostly). Facility is on older side but it's clean and comfy. We didn't spend much time in the hotel so it met our needs.

Fairly well located and good value for price

Posted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The warm water management.
Location: About a 15 min. walk from Trinity College and Temple Bar area. Very easy to reach by bus (Airlink 747) from the airport.
The rooms are somewhat small, but comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. As a more negative point, getting warm water in the morning for showering was not that easy.

Very nice for this price

Location is awesome, which is city center. People were nice, and 5 Euros of breakfast fee was reasonable.
