Hotel disappointing

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: There is nothing close
Front office not friendly, bathroom in lobby not working, no wifi in rooms, no ice machines for drinks, no restaurants or bar close to hotel except the little diner attached to hotel, in fact nothing close. The workers in the little diner were very friendly.

Welcoming hotel

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Staff, position, quiet and very pleasant. Good parking.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location close to airport the reason for staying.
Arrived to a warm welcome, very efficient staff, restuarant also good although under some construction. Breakfast was good and plentiful with very helpful staff. 100 percent better than the Swords South Travel Lodge, atmosphere felt quite threatening there with dark underground car park. This hotel has good parking in outside the door car park. Will stay her again when airport travel is required.

Terrible internet service.

Internet was for a fee and it was terrible and only for one device. The food at the restaurant was great though. The actual room was a bit dilapidated.

Good for a handy bed

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Shower curtain
Location: Airport.
The room was adequate but not exciting. The shower head was overhead and not adjustable and the curtain enveloped you in a cocoon as you showered. The room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable. The coffee was good.

a trip back to the 70's (60's?)

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Staff was pleasant.
Cons: D├ęcor and price range.
Location: Don't know. And there was a 15 euro round trip charge for shuttle to airport terminal. No conversion and I paid in pounds so lost money.
Very minimalist hotel with no elevator. Hasn't been redecorated in thirty years I bet. The worst of it was that I paid 132 pounds for a room - most expensive in my stay and least favorite. I had a room at the back so it was fairly quiet except when neighbors came in late at night in a convivial mood.

Just go to a B&B

Posted May 25, 2014
Location: There is a large shopping center in Swords, just within walking distance from the hotel, called the Pavillion. Ask the staff for directions.
My husband and I paid for the most basic type of room but had to pay extra for breakfast, extra for Wi-fi, and extra for a shuttle to the airport. A Bed & Breakfast would have cost about the same, if not less, and the accommodations would have been much more pleasant. Shuttle service from the hotel to the airport for the two of us cost as much as a taxi would have. The staff were perfectly helpful, though.
