Good location; practical and cosyPosted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Without doubt, the view from the Blue Room.
Cons: Payment by card rather than cash paid to Goldi at time of arrival. Better WiFi. Locks to both the main apartment door and room door were awkward.
Location: Slightly difficult to find at first. Many steps. Only 5-10minutes walk from the Old Town, with stunning views en route.
Spent 4 nights at Dubrovnik Residence. Goldi met us at the "Biker's Café" across the road...once we eventually managed to locate the hotel, after climbing MANY steps. When I say hotel, it would be more appropriate to call it individual rooms within an apartment. Nonetheless, the rooms were comfy and practical. A small fridge, hair-dryer and coffee-maker were the main "extras" in the room. Goldi provides a Wifi password, but we had difficulty obtaining any connection. Take care not to drop any crumbs on the room floor, as we had a brief issue with ants!!! There is a well-stocked convenience store just across the street, where you could purchase toiletries as required, as these - with the exception of hand-wash - are not provided. We were fortunate enough to be in the Blue Room, which, I must say, had a truly excellent view out to sea, across to Lokrum Island and also to the Old Town. The view definitely made up for any other small issues.

We booked the studio apartment and had a brilliant view of Dubrovnik and all home comforts. Steps to the old town were very steep and would definitely not recommend it for any body with mobility issues. The only downside was the apartment block itself which looked very tired.

Totally unsatisfiedPosted Jul 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room in the picture was not the room we received! There was no on site parking as stated. The bathroom was down the hall not in the room. There was no hit water. The beds were not beds, terrible place all around!

Owner is very nice and helpful. This place (more like an apartment), which reminded me of airbnb, is located on a hill close to old town, which mean expect to walk up the hill or stairs when heading back to the place. Place had all or most of the kitchen utensils, which was a convenient. Be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. You can hear other guest coming in and out, which can be noisy.

Great location, small room in shared flat.Posted Jul 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location, small room in a flat with plenty of other people. Very nice view of Dubrovnik/Sea. Goldi (guest) was very helpful and nice. Organisation was a bit rushed (check out a 11am, 11h10 already other guests in the room and our stuff in the corridor). Not for everyone as you have to climb quite a lot of stairs to get to the flat.

Good view & positionPosted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
Small room & lots & lots of steps!!! Difficult with luggage. Goldi met us & was very helpful - managed to change our car hire pick up from Airport to 10 mins from room!! Great view of old town & sea. A balcony would have been terrific. Only 6/7 mins walk from old town. Good Value.

Great Location and nice view.Posted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location was very nice and the view was perfect. From the othe side the rooms was quite old and the bathroom door did not close. Also, the aircondition smell really bad. I stayed there for two days and since I was out all day on the beach it was ok. The beach is 4 minutes walk down the steps and the Castle max 7 minutes. Parking is also available but you must be lucky if it is August and full season.

Very clean. Panoramic sea and Old Town view of Dubrovnik. An extraordinarily well hospitality of the owner.
