Pros: Lots of facilities Child friendly
Cons: More frequent transfers to Dubrovnik Old Town
Lovely family-friendly resort. Good eating options. Overall, very pleased. The only quibble is that it is isolated from Dubrovnik Old Town, so more frequent transport options to the town would be appreciated.

Hotel in stunning locationPosted May 5, 2015
We had a super stay. Well looked after by attentive staff and the facilities were great. Only slight let down was the English breakfast but the continental one was fab. Would certainly stay again!

Posted Apr 12, 2015

Bitter/sweet!Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: The sense of space! The hotel is quite big but well laid out.
Cons: More restaurants to be opened in non peak times.
Location: Although the hotel is described as being in Dubrovnik, it is really Orašac, which is 16 k away!!
We stayed in the residences, which are adjacent to the hotel and also enables people to use the hotel's facilities. EVERYWHERE was clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff were very polite and helpful. We were pleased with the hotel generally, it is a shame that only a small part of the hotel was open! Three pools were out of action, no sports facilities available, only two restaurants were open. The most important thing for us (travelling with small children) was the beach was also closed due to rebuilding works. This being a massive negative!!! We were not informed the hotel has a policy of shutting down for low season. Even so, being a Christian country and it being Easter time, we didn't think it would be considered as low season.

Tolles HotelPosted Oct 26, 2014

Great hotelPosted Oct 21, 2014
Great hotel with amazing view, far away from the crowd in Dubrovnik (20mins by car).a Amazing spa area and nice fitness. Room service was fast and good food. The room/bathroom and balcony were big and nicely decorated. The hotel itself is quite new. Breakfast buffet with plenty of options. During our stay however outdoor pools were not available (october).

Great hotel - only half open during off seasonPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: High quality throughout. Food wasn't as expensive as I expected despite reading that it was on Tripadvisor. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: It would be great if more of the hotel was open during the off season
Location: It couldn't be improved but note that it's 11km from Dubrovnik. The shuttle is £5 each way per person and a taxi is £20 each way. I'd say hire a car
Hotels often look much better in the photographs. 5 stars are not really five stars, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The two bed apartment we were booked in which overlooked the sea was beautiful. Equipped really well (although the kitchen unit was a little basic). There is free wifi throughout the hotel which is great and should be standard across all hotels I feel. The beds were firm and comfortable. Toiletries were posh and smelled great. Everything looked of high quality but the best thing was the view. Seriously, pay extra and get the sea view. It's breathtaking. Note that dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc aren't provided but you can buy a small pack for about £15-£20. Bit pricey. The pools were great but half of them were closed due to it being off season. In fact a lot of the hotel was closed. However, it didn't bother me too much as we got such a good deal. I can imagine it's twice the price in the peak season but also very busy.

Beautiful resort, perfect getaway!Posted Oct 15, 2014
Cons: The price of food was high, but expected for a large resort.
Location: Dubrovnik is a very close drive, with lots to do. But really you can stay at the hotel if you wanted and still have plenty to do during high season.
Soon as we pulled up we were amazed by the elegance of this resort inside-out. From the pools to the spa (and the amazing sauna area) to the restaurants, everything was 100%. The inclusive breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a modern European masterpiece.
