“Wonderful location”

My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful break at the Bellevue Hotel. As the name suggests the view is breathtaking. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful. It's an easy walk down to the old town and harbour but rather more strenuous walking back up, especially after a walk around the city walls! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return if the opportunity ever arises.

“Lovely hotel, rooms not big but very comfortable”

Great hotel, close enough to walk to Old City but far enough away to enjoy peace from crowds, beautiful little beach accessed by lift, service was excellent, probably not 5 star by American standards but very very good. Although menu is limited food was exceptional. Croatians are fairly reserved by nature and may be interpreted as not particularly friendly but only have to smile and be polite and they respond accordingly. Would happily stay there again.

“A really wonderful hotel”

We were excited and surprised as we checked into this modern classy hotel. The Hotel is superb, wonderful facilities, spotlessly clean, fabulous views from all parts of the hotel, terrific little beach with its own beach bar and it was nice to be able to take the lift down to the beach. We enjoyed sharing the adjoining beach with the locals. The location of the bellevue is perfect - a nice easy 20 minute stroll down the coast to the old town and either a stroll back or a short taxi ride home. The restaurant in the hotel was second to non with a setting to die for. I would recommend upgrading to a Delux room- it was so very spacious with its own small balcony. Wonderful holiday and will return without fail.

“Perfect location”

We had a fantastic stay at the Bellevue - the staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were spotless and the views from the balcony absolutely wonderful. As others have mentioned the hotel restaurants were pricey but the Spice Lounge offers more affordable smaller meals. Although not in the old town, you can gently stroll along the coastal road to be at the city walls in just under 15 minutes, or get the local bus (3 stops only) from just outside the hotel.

a good modern and recently built hotel. wonderful views down onto the beach. I would return. Walking distance from the old town.

Great hotel with stunning views and only 15 mins walk from the old town. A wonderful place to treat yourself and give a long weekend a touch of luxury.

“Superb”

Having stayed here before, i knew what to expect and i was not disappointed in the slightest. Upon turning up at the hotel four hours earlier than we should have, they rewarded us with a triple upgrade. The clerks were courteous, happy and friendly. It is obviously a nice environment to work in, as when we stayed two year prior to this, we noticed not many of the staff have changed!! Even big Ivan the barman. The maintenance / cleaning staff were also charming, always saying hello in the hallways, lovely turndown service and lush chocs left on pillows!! Fully recommended, a short walk downhill down to the Old Town/Pile Gate if you don't mind it, and out of the main hubbub (which i prefer). Lovely beach which has a private section for hotel guests as well as a stone deck arrangement to lay too. The hotel rooms are slick, modern and yet quite homely. L'Occitane toiletries, lovely breakfasts, stunning views. Superb!

“We will return !”

This was our first trip to Dubrovnik and picked out the hotel based upon comments on various web sites. I called the Hotel the night before and ordered the airport shuttle service, what a suprise when the airport shuttle turned out as a "5 Series" BMW, what a start to the holiday. The hotel was outstanding, it is recently renovated and is first class. We had reserved a balcony room, the view from the balcony is breathtaking, you look out over a small cove into the Adriatic, uninterupted view of the coastline and sea. The hotel breakfast was excellent having a variety of choices to suit all tastes. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and very friendly, always available to answer any questions and give helpful hints on where and what to enjoy. I rented a car during the stay, the hotel desk arranged for the agency to deliver and pick-up the car, the door staff valet parked the car for me and helped me with direction to gas station and route in and out of the city. Outstanding. The rooms are squeaky clean, room service outstanding, waiters/ bar staff extremely attentive and friendly. As you can read we had a great time and will return to this hotel

“Good hotel made for good holiday experience”

This was our first time in Croatia and the quality and service of the hotel set us up for a good holiday. Hotel position for the old town is fine. Service was good and ending the day with a mojito in the Spice Lounge was perfect! Restaurant is pricey, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Would go back again
