Wonderful location, efficiently run hotelPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location, sea views, friendly and efficient staff. Hotel does not feel too large and everything is at a leisurely pace.
Cons: Bathrooms! The shower head does not stay in place, room is not ventilated, paint work needs updating, bath slightly cracked.
Location: Fantastic location! Sea view perfect. Walk to the old town which is absolutely amazing, cable car ride to the top of Dubrovnik to see a better view.
Stayed here for 5 nights beginning of August. This is one of the few Dubrovnik hotels with its own beach accessible from the hotel lift, private balcony with sufficient sunbeds available all day and a dining area that served reasonably priced lunches and drinks. Staff very pleasant and accommodating, private transfer from the airport with extremely pleasant driver who made you feel very welcome for a good rate in a BMW limo. Location allows you to access the old town walking in about 10-15 minutes and it is a very enjoyable, picturesque walk. The only area of concern was the state of the bathrooms: need some TLC here. Shower not modern and room needs ventilation. Plenty of toiletries available.

Great resort locationPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Location! Great view of the water and easy access to swimming
Cons: Breakfast service was ok but could have been better - service elsewhere in the Joel was very good
Location: Great location. Walkable to town in 15 mins or $10 cab ride. Swimming at the hotel. Went on day tours to Bosnia, Montenegro, ston, korcula and split.
We had a great time at the Bellevue. Beautiful location with small swimming beach at base of the hotel which allowed you to have quiet beach time away from crowds in old town Dubrovnik. Walk was about 15 minutes from downtown so easy access. Very good breakfast buffet to start the day. Restaurant was a little exotic for kids.

Belleview Hotel DubrovnikPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: 5 star service! Had a suite and was brilliant. Staff extremely friendly. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Stony beach
My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to a suite. We had booked a balcony room which I would recommend in any event . Very good breakfast with usual English fried breakfast. Not far from the Old Town-about 15 minds to walk there but maybe a taxi on the way back( unless you are young) for about 15-16 Kunas. Old town is a must and the cable car to the top is brilliant. 100 kunas each. Try and avoid lunchtime as it is full of tourist groups. Best restaurant is KOPUN near St Ignatious church . Excellent value. We went twice!

Beautiful hotel with amazing beachPosted Jul 20, 2014
Unbelievable experience. Friendly staff, helpful concierges (devor and Barbara were amazing), breakfast was yummy and included, rooms were beautiful. The beach right downstairs is perfect. Close to the old city (10 min walk). All in all, the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I was on my honeymoon and it felt so incredibly special. I highly recommend it!

Good locationPosted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Nice and quiet, good service
Cons: The rooms were a bit on the small side, also free bottled water in the room would have been good
Location: handy for Dubrovnik old town and harbour for boat trips
Close to old town but also had beach for swimming, also small indoor pool

Tasteful, comfortable hotel in fantastic position.Posted Jul 19, 2014
Beautiful position, overlooking the sea with access to safe beach with handy bar yet only 15 minute stroll to the old city. Ideal! A balcony room is a must. Great staff..attentive and friendly. Breakfast buffet has a hot option and represents excellent value. Each morning ate on the restaurant terrace overlooking the bay. Cheap supermarket just 100 yards over the road to stock up on beers to avoid costly mini bar..great spa facilities that I had to myself each evening. We had a wonderful time :-)

Not a true 5 star.Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: Location - 10-15 mins walk to Old Town (15 back, its uphill!). Good restaurant variety and service with beach side service.
Cons: Bathroom in general and shower specifically - need to completely start again. Cleaners noisy early on, lots of banging and crashing.
Location: Private beach and swimming, 10-15 mins walk to Old Town and all that the location can offer.
Good location, good facilities, good staff and all let down by the quality of the bedroom. Bedroom furniture was adequate at best. Chipped wardrobe, quite thin pillows (extra in the wardrobe), bedspread same material as the curtains and far too coarse for bedding purposes, door to balcony in poor condition and requiring firm action/force to action complete closure. Bathroom disappointing - shower very inadequate for a 5 star - toilet seat coming adrift and not sitting square, constant drip from the tap, fixtures and fittings all showing signs of wear. Mortgage required to use the minibar. Positives - great balcony and view of the (private, mostly pebble) beach below. Retracting electric canopy to shield balcony was a great touch. Very large and comfy bed, air con in good order and quiet running.

Superb small hotel, close to Old town .Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Beach and room.
Cons: Tea/coffee in room.
Location: Old town ten minutes walk downhill, 2 mins in taxi back uphill late at night. Old town has loads of great restaurants. Best was Restaurant Dubrovnik.
Fantastic location, it has a pebbly beach in nice little bay. Superb beach restaurant, good breakfast. Clean rooms and obviously great views ! Can't fault it.
