NICE HOTEL, WONDERFUL VIEWSPosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING.
Cons: ROOM NEEDED DRAWERS. BAR STAFF SHOULD BE MORE OBLIGING WHEN MAKING DRINKS, AND IN OFFERING DRINKS TO THOSE ON SUN DECK. FREE BOTTLED WATER IN ROOMS?
Location: THE VIEWS WERE EXCEPTIONAL. SEA ACCESS - DANGEROUS. HILLY POSITION SO NOT GOOD FOR WALKS. 3 MINS TO NEAREST BEACH IN TAXI. 10 MINS BY TAXI TO OLD CITY
THE HOTEL IS LOVELY IF YOU ARE IMMOBILE THOUGH THERE ARE LOTS OF STEPS TO GET EVERYWHERE. MOST OF THE STAFF ARE EXCEPTIONAL BUT THOSE THAT ARE NOT REALLY ARE NOT. THE ROOM WAS OF AN ADEQUATE SIZE, BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN - NO DRAWERS ? AS LADIES WE NEED DRAWERS ! LOTS OF WARDROBE SPACE THOUGH. INDOOR POOL WAS SPACIOUS BUT TOO COLD FOR ME. LOTS OF SUN LOUNGERS THOUGH THE POOL AREA WAS TOO CROWDED WITH NO PASSING SPACE ON ONE SIDE - SCAREY. RESTAURANTS AT HOTEL WERE TOP CLASS FOOD WAS DELICIOUS - REALLY GOOD FOOD. BARS NEEDED TO BE MORE HOSPITABLE AND OBLIGING. OVERALL I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK.

A fantastic hotel with a truly amazing sunsetPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: outlook pool Access to swim in the sea Sunsets Personnel
Location: The old town, which is an amazing place to experience with its architecture, small streets & restaurants is only a short bus journey away.
We spent a week at the Dubrovnik Palace for some relaxation time in the sun, a swim in the sea, some good food and as a place to be close= but not too close- to the old town. It met and exceeded our expectations. The reception staff were very helpful in giving local information and helping arrange a birthday meal for my wife at the Panorama restaurant- which is well worth a visit. There was very nice touch from the hotel when we returned to our room to find a personalised birthday cake for my wife- I thought about trying to take credit but this was obviously from the room staff who noticed her birthday card. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant one evening with a recommendation for some local wine which we enjoyed. The outlook of the hotel across the water and islands made it truly special- we have never seen such beautiful sunsets anywhere else and were mesmerised every evening. The hotel could be great on this alone but does not rest on this and made every aspect of the stay memorable. We will hopefully return in the not too distant future.

A Summer Break in DubrovnikPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: The staff and the facilities are all extremely good.
Cons: I think they've pretty much got it right!
Location: Dubrovnik old town is spectacular and well worth a visit, there are lots of things to see and do in the town and around the area.
The hotel is well equipped with an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym and spa. The buffet breakfasts are excellent and the taverna restaurant is a nice place to eat in the evening if you don't fancy the bus trip into the old town. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the rooms (we had a suite) are a good size with stunning views over the Adriatic.

Dubrovnik Palace HotelPosted Aug 24, 2014
Nice Hotel good location. May be a bit too big. Lobby bar hidden around corner out of the way in a otherwise large lobby area. Needs one or two more bars in the hotel. Bus stops outside so very easy for the town. Be quick if you want a poolside lounger they go as soon as the sun rises. Food very good but a bit sameish.

Fantastic luxury hotel with great viewsPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: fantastic views.
Cons: slightly on the pricy side.
Location: nearby town has plenty of bars and places to eat. great watersports nearby.
The hotel is perfectly positioned for guests to enjoy stunning views of the beautiful Adriatic. The decor of the hotel is unfussy and played down, but the facilities are excellent, the staff extremely helpful and everything is spotlessly clean. We miss it already!

Comfortable hotel with spectacular viewsPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Indoor swimming pool wonderful! Terrace restaurant delicious.
Cons: Don't get a first floor room as there is no sea view because of trees. Tea & coffee facilities in room would be good.
Location: Old town of Dubrovnik wonderful, lots to see and do and learn about history. Cable car stunning views. Trip to Mostar good.
Wonderful 5 night stay! Given first floor room at first which had the sea view obscured by trees. Asked to change and were given 3rd floor room, spectacular! Very helpful & friendly staff. Evening buffet not great but terrace restaurant was lovely! Only downside need more outside room for beds as it was a little cosy which for a 5 star hotel was a shame. Bus service into old town was very convenient. Loved Dubrovnik and the hotel.
