Fantastic position - couldn't be better.

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: The position for sightseeing was perefct, just outside the city walls.
Cons: Shame there wasn't an outdoor pool but it's a city hotel.
Location: Perfect location!
Lovely hotel and it was everything we could have wanted for comfort. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and great service.

Great location 2 mins walk from the city walls

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Large bedrooms, well decorated and furnished throughout. A feeling of luxury!
Cons: There was no bin in our bathroom and after the first day there was no bin liner in the bin in the bedroom. A small thing but it was annoying
Location: Right next it the old city walls with all the Dubrovnik has to offer on the door step
Lovely hotel, great facilities and food. Great customer service and the pool area provided a welcome alternative to sight seeing on the afternoon we had bad weather

Great hotel, a block from the Old Town

Posted Aug 25, 2014
This is an excellent hotel in the best possible location if you want to explore the Old Town. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the rooms are lare and luxurious, and the breakfasts are worthy of a 5-star all-inclusive. Best of all my be the concierge, who not only provides detailed and knowledgable advice and suggestions, but has prepared his own written summaries of all of the most popular excursions. Highly recommended.

Excellent base for Dubrovnik Old Town

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Classic 5* service in a 5* location
Cons: It is mildly inconvenient (in summer, at least) that the indoor swimming pool is somewhat apart from the outdoor sundeck area ...
Location: Dubrovnik Old Town is, to say the least, breathtaking. There is so much to see and do ...
You get what you pay for - this is a typical 5* hotel, at 5* prices - but the main selling point of this hotel is its excellent location just outside the main gate to the Old Town; perfect!

Excellent location in Dubrovnik

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Superb location, good facilities and excellent breakfast buffet. Definitely recommend the main building, not the remodeled annex - comfortable but no views and across the drive from restaurant and services. Internet wifi in the annex was so bad the hotel refunded the cost w/o objection.

Very nice hotel steps from the city walls

Posted Aug 11, 2014
We stayed at the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik on a recent stay to Croatia. We were flying into Dubrovnik from the U.S. and had only 24-hours there before moving on to the next stage of our journey. Since we were coming straight from the U.S., I wanted a comfortable hotel to help get over jet lag more quickly. And since we only had a short amount of time in Dubrovnik, I wanted a hotel close to the old city walls so that we could maximize our time seeing the city. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. The hotel is steps from the city wall--much closer than it seemed it would be from looking at a map. We had a king-sized bed that was firm but not too hard with plenty of very comfortable pillows. They set up a spare bed for our teenaged daughter and she was perfectly happy with it. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for short nap after our arrival and a good night's sleep to get over jet lag. The bathroom was spacious and clean and well lit. Breakfast was a typical buffet in a large hotel European hotel--lots of good options. The breakfast room was very lovely with lots of windows and an option to each on an outside patio. All of the staff were courteous and spoke English. We rented a car at the airport and drove to the hotel and I was surprised at how easy it was to find (although we did get a navigation system in the car). There is a Sixt car rental office in the hotel as well. Although it was a bit pricey, it really helped us to make the most of our short time in Dubrovnik.
