“Showing its age”

Rather dated hotel with limited facilities. Our room was on the second floor, with no lift, no air conditioning and very light curtains. It was clean and well-kept and the location is by a quiet harbour, a good 20 minutes' walk from Korcula Town, or just over 5 minutes by an inexpensive water taxi. We had to book half board. The food was old-fashioned but surprisingly tasty. Generally, the staff were pleasant and helpful. We bought tickets at the hotel to a sword-dancing event in an open air venue. When we turned up, they were showing "Mr Bean's Holiday" instead! We returned to our hotel and demanded our money back. After we made a fuss, the receptionist refunded us from his own money. If you can live without air conditioning and blackout curtains in July, it's not a bad place to stay. Personally, I'd look for somewhere else next time.

Cold indifferent reception. Double room with no room for suitcases Breakfast like a cheap cafeteria Terrible coffee, no spoons and no cold milk for the cereal.
