Pros: Quiet and peaceful
Cons: Closet space in room
Location: 10 minutes by bus to old town, 5 minute walk to bus stop going Bus stop in front on return
Very nice and quiet location by the gruz harbor (no views though) It's a wonderful place to chill and relax Included Breakfast is good practice in mindful eating (no buffet style on display) you order what you wish as you're seated True non smoking property even outdoors

Hotel KazbekPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: The ambiance, meals, atmosphere, rooms, guests and the staff, in fact everything was great.
Location: Easy bus route into the old town and ferries to the islands. There are pebble beaches and several restaurants within walking distance.
If you are looking for a hotel with a gym, sauna, entertainment, kids club then this is not the place for you. But, if you want a place that is quietly elegant, away from the crowds but convenient for restaurants and sightseeing it is absolutely perfect. The hotel arranged for a car to collect us at the airport and you enter an enclosed courtyard that looks into the port. The orange trees and bougainvillea welcome you into an intimate oasis, and also the outdoor breakfast room and restaurant which is delightful. There is an air-conditioned indoor restaurant and a covered bar and sitting area on the first floor overlooking the courtyard and harbour. The reception area is small, cool and dark...a perfect contrast to the sunlit courtyard. A swimming pool lies behind with plenty of sun beds, chairs, tables with shaded areas to escape to. With only 13 rooms in the hotel, it is never crowded. There is an outdoor kitchen for lunch and drinks. Service was excellent, discreet and friendly. Paloma, a waitress, was great as was Angela who had only been there four days. Jenny on reception helped in every possible way and we cannot praise the staff enough as I had some serious back problems and they sorted out taxi, private clinic and even sent food to the room as I was laid up in bed. We were there for 11 days, but many of the guests where only staying 2-3 nights. They all wished they had booked for longer as we had.

Excellent location, peaceful and relaxing.Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: The hotel only caters for a small group of people mostly couples, very charming surroundings. Relaxing atmosphere. Quiet and away from the crowds.
Cons: Possibly that some of the staff could be more attentive to the guests needs.
Location: Good location, close to harbour restaurants, boat trips etc. Peaceful yet close to the Old Town and nearby attractions if you wish to venture further
We had made arrangements with the hotel to provide our airport transfers to which we were not dissapointed. On first impressions the hotel was very charming and situated opposite the quiet harbour. We choose to eat at many of the local restaurants that were reasonably priced including the hotel restaurant. The hotel is not overcrowed and quite often we were the only people in the swimming pool which was lovely. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The only issue we had with the hotel is that our room was on the second floor and this meant that our windows were set high up to accommodate the roof beamed ceilings. Although this was a feature of the building I would have personally preferred to have a better outlook from the window in our room. If you wish to stay at the hotel I would suggest that you request a room on the 1st floor if you wish to have a better outlook from the windows. Our visit was only for 4 days and I wish that we could have stayed for longer.

Hotel KazbekPosted Jun 1, 2015
This is an excellent, clean, well maintained accommodating hotel, right on the harbour. It is very easy to get into Dubrovnik Old Town. We had a great stay, although I probably wouldn't recommend it for small children. The courtyard leads out onto a busy road.

5 day stay at a 5 star hotelPosted May 30, 2015
Pros: It was a very nice old building with thick walls so it was very quiet and we were able to sleep very well there. Number 6 bus service ran near the ho
Cons: A noticeboard in the Reception area would be useful giving information about local places of interest, shops, supermarkets & a hairdressing salon.
Location: Hotel Kazbek is very well situated on Port Cruz Harbour with lovely views of the cruise liners and many little boats moored in the harbour.
Hotel Kazbek was a very good choice for our 5 day stay in Dubrovnik. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and gave good information about nice restaurants nearby and places to visit along the coast. Our room on the first floor was very spacious with a nice bathroom and it overlooked the lovely patio where breakfast was served most mornings.

5 star classy small hotelPosted Apr 25, 2015
If you are looking for a peaceful high class place to stay in Croatia, I say this place is worth every penny. Service is helpful and personal, rooms are fancy and well cleaned (twice a day!), pool area is fantastic and the breakfast is heavenly. Location was perfect and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Honestly the only thing missing was nail clippers, otherwise all our needs were well fullfilled.

Excellent choicePosted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: There was nothing that we disliked
Cons: The breakfast is ordered from the menu and the waiter should write it down, to avoid mistakes or omissions.
Location: 40 minutes walk to the old town, bus stop very near hotel. Scuba diving centre within walking distance. Two pebble beaches very near. Restaurants near
Since the moment we arrived to our departure everything went perfectly well. Very nice staff, comfortable room, bathroom with great shower, excellent toiletries , towels and bathrobes .television channels were poor, only news and German and French channels. Not a big problem. Bus stop to Dubrovnik very near the hotel. Good breakfast, not buffet style, but perfectly adequate. Swimming pool quite small, but you have the most beautiful blue sea with plenty of places were to swim. Very good restaurants to the left and right of the hotel. We were very happy with our choice.
