“great location”

Very convienient location - handy to beach and bus and shopping area. Lovely breakfast area and lovely breakfast!! Only concern was the lack of laundry facilities - when youhave been travelling for a while it would have been nice to have access to washing machine for a clean up!! - However we did manage todo all our washing in the bath in the room and it dried well overnight!! Would definately recommend this hotel.

“Great value and service”

This hotel is in the Lapad area of Dubrovnik, away from the Old Town. This isn't a problem though as you can get a bus (which goes every 10 mins and takes about 10 mins) to the Old Town and back easily. The hotel was built in 1968 and architecturally it's of its time. The rooms are spacious and clean, and if you get one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking Lapad Bay the view is spectacular. The service is excellent; all staff speak perfect English. A special shout out to Ivan who runs the restaurant - he remembered my order every morning! I was in Dubrovnik out of season so it was quite difficult to find somewhere around the hotel to eat; most places were shut. In season this would be no problem though. This is an excellent hotel and great value at the price.

“Good place to stay”

It is located in front of a public beach & on the pedestrian street. We we there in early May & the bus to old town was SO crowded, you were packed like sardines if you could get on it at all. Be prepared to take a taxi. Coming back on the bus in the late evening is much easier. Breakfast is fine. There are lots of options, but nothing is spectacular. Double rooms have 2 twin beds pushed together. It is reasonably clean & comfortable. The staff is friendly & understands enough English.

“Good location and good for its value”

Hotel was a bit old, and certainly needs a 21st century make-over, but nonetheless it was very welcoming, clean and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was AMAZING, especially if it was served outdoors on a beautiful day. Location of hotel was great. It was right on the promenade and only minutes away from Lapad beach. Hotel staffs (except one reception person, who probably wanted to be at the beach or something and did not want to be at his job that day by giving us passive aggressive answers and rude treatment ) were helpful and really went out of their way to help out and showed us the way. Wi fi service could be a bit better? it was only allowed on the reception floor and did not work in the room. time for a technology upgrade!

“Average quality hotel”

The hotel is situated relatively far from Dubrovnik old town, but has a decent (public) beach nearby. Finding the right entrance to the hotel was tricky, as the official address is pointing at the bottom entrance, situated in the pedestrian zone. The proper entrance is in a completely different street, so we had to ask locals for directions to find it. The hotel is "upside-down" due to the fact that it's located on a cliff side - the front desk and the guest parking space is located on the top floor. Parking space was provided for free, but it cannot in any way be sufficient for all, or even half of the hotel guests - if you're coming by car check in advance whether there are free parking spots. Front desk clerk was helpful and very polite, and also gave us directions on how to get to the old town and some other pointers we required readily. The rooms are spacious, but overall the equipment and furniture are old and worn out. The room was relatively clean (if you disregard old and smelly wall-to-wall carpeting) and a/c was functional. There were no strange noises in the room and the quality of sleep we had was good. Breakfast was served on the outside terrace, which was nice given the fair weather we enjoyed during our stay. The buffet was sufficient but not at all opulent, food was varied and plentiful, but rather plain (no fresh juices etc.).

“Great location”

Great location - right next to the sea, for convienence was great. The Terrace restaurant was a lovely place to eat and drink with a great view. We had a sea view room which looked out onto the flat roof above the indoor swimming pool so the view wasn't great - but it was quiet and private. Room was comfy and clean and just what you would expect for a UK 2 star hotel. Was good area to stay for relaxing and easy to get into the old town.

“ok for the price”

OK little 3 star place. Glad we paid extra for the sea view as it was really good view over the pool to the beach. The pool was also great, swimming every day. Staff helpful. The room could have done with a makeover, but OK. The room not really noise proof. We got a lot of noise from the floor above and we could hear anyone in surrounding rooms and floor above shower and flush toilets and got woken during the night by his. The breakfast was below average and we skipped one day as we could not take again. In a wonderful area easy to walk to restaurants, shops and beach. Easy bus ride into old city.
