All Good!
Great location, 5 to 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Ten minutes in an Uber to the old town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Very clean, nicely decorated, with very good staff service. Ana, the receptionist was very helpful and efficient.

Great location by the beach. Very clean. However worn out and poorly maintained amenities. For example, the bed mattresses in our room were damaged and uncomfortable. Very expensive for a 3 star hotel.

OUTSTANDING helpful hotel staff, great location
I had multiple stressful situations at Dubrovnik where I desperately needed help from the local people and the hotel staff jumped in any way they could, to help me out. My daughter somehow had a food poisoning episode where she was throwing up and had diarrhea. (1) The hotel staff called a local doctor at 10pm at night, (2) the hotel manager (the hotel owner’s son) personally volunteered to drive me to the only pharmacy that was open at the wee hours at night at the old town. If he were not there, there is no way I would have found the hole in the wall pharmacy that night, to get the medication that my daughter desperately needed, (3) the cook multiple times made white steamed rice (it is not in the menu, obviously) for my daughter’s diet, (4) they boiled water and iced it to room temperature as the doctor asked my daughter to drink only boiled water, (5) my return flight to US got canceled and I needed to rebook flight via a different airlines that necessitated me to stay back at the hotel 6 hours past the 11am checkout time – they let me extend my stay in my two rooms for free, for 6 hours. Any other hotel would have probably charged me fully or partially for this. Other than that, great convenient location at Lapad with local restaurants and stores, easy to go to old town via Bus #6 in 15 min, bus station is five minutes away, and the air-conditioning is great, and a good restaurant downstairs. Lapad is a great place to stay at a reasonable price

The rooms were small. No coffee machine in the room. Strict rules about eating or drinking in the room??!! They had a mini fridge in the room: for what?? Location is perfect. Staff is very helpful and good.

Good stay - lovely staff.
Good stay. The staff was really nice and the location of the hotel is great. Just note that it is on a pedestrian street so if you're coming by taxi, they'll drop you off in the parking lot across the street and you'll have to walk there. Though it isn't far. The room was basic but I was there for a solo trip and spent most of my time at the beach or the restaurants on the pedestrian street so it was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect value for the price to be honest.

Good and nicely situated
The hotel is good and the staff nice but there were a few small issues; most have been resolved. The fan in my room was very loud even on lowest setting so I could only sleep with open windows, which can be a problem because of the noise due to the touristic location. I was particularly worried with a DJ/club next to my room. Fortunately pretty much all stops at midnight and I had sound sleep every night. You have to read l request for the bed to be made daily which I thought daily house keeping meant. After I mentioned this issues they were quickly resolved (except the fan but this may require more work than a quick fix in that room and it may not be a general issue). I also wish that the DJ and bed making were told to me at check-in at least; a bit of communication then would have made a difference. The location is great otherwise with the sunset beach 15m away, many good restaurants (make reservations), bus stop to old town is close etc

Nice stay.
Great location. Sunset Beach.Close to bus which is a ten minute trip to old town. My only beef was there was only one towel in the room.. when I asked for a second towel ., they made me return the first one first. Very odd . Great breakfast wonderful Fresh omelelette.

Black Mold
Mold all over the bathroom, BLACK mold. It was everywhere, an unhealthy amount so we couldn’t even shower. We had to fight to get a new room, the NEXT day. Thankfully we did not have to pay for the first night. The new room had mold too, plenty of it.

Great location
The hotel is located steps from Sunset Beach with many nearby restaurants and activities, and a short taxi ride into the historic part of Dubrovnik. The location really can't be beat. The room was clean and spacious and breakfast was good, with fresh-made eggs in addition to a small buffet. The bathroom was a bit dated but clean. Staff was not always available at the front desk so sometimes we were left standing to retrieve our room key. On the whole, we would recommend this hotel.

Realy bad soundproofing from the door. Could hear easily other guests talk in the hallway and we woke up due to the noise alot of times during the evening and morning. Bad breakfast .

In a word ... It was great. It was a little difficult to locate and you can't park near the hotel as it is on a closed--street pedestrian walkway. Very busy area ... Lots going on. restaurants everywhere. Beach down the street 600yds

This was a very nice hotel. However not quite worth the money that they charge but as we found out Dubrovnik is an extremely expensive place. The local area has lots of great places to eat but are expensive as well. Very close to the beach as well. A very nice hotel

The 24 hour reception was very accommodating when we arrived at 1:00am due to travel delays. The room was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The main pedestrian walk was good. Access to taxis was not an issue to get into city center.

Great staff at homely Hotel in a great location
Homely 3 star hotel with lovely staff. Marina and the other guys looked after the 4 of us and embraced the rest of our party of 14 (booked elsewhere) aged from 2 to 92.This is a great location toward the beach end of an excellent pedestrianized street with everything (literally) from chips to fine dining and a great choice in between. Just 5 minutes from a lovely coast side walk, 15 mins walk to the New Port, 15 minute taxi ride to the old town/cable car etc. Highly recommended.

Place is clean and well maintained. There is a light blanket with sheet on top of bed which you have to make yourself. Staff is friendly and the on site restaurant is good. Room is on the smaller side and air conditioning worked well.

Great location & staff, well priced.
Family travelling with a baby. Very friendly staff who went the extra mile for us. Ensured all of our needs were catered for (organising private day tours, prepping baby bottles, etc). It may only be listed as a 3 star hotel but it has a full 5 star attitude. Close to beach, restaurants & attractions. Would definitely stay again.

The location is the only plus
Stayed at Hotel Perla due to the location, decent reviews, and online photos. The price was ok but we were disappointed by how tired the hotel itself was, even after the supposed reno/update. The plumbing was horrible in our washroom - very slow drains, the toilet was off kilter when you sat down it was slanted to the right towards the wall and the ceiling was cracked. Room itself smelled musty and the tv was maybe 15” at best. Don’t let the photos fool you as you browse because it is not as cute in person as you would think in your room. The bed was hard and springy and they supply you with a thin dingy looking felt blanket. The only toiletries in bathroom included bar soap. They only gave us one ‘bath’ towel for 2 of us, and the towels were thin and tired and good sized for a small child. If you have a room in the front of the hotel, expect loud shouting from the drunk people on the walking path til late into the evening. There is a very very small one-occupant plus luggage elevator in the hotel, so at least there are no stairs! There is no lobby just a front desk beside the main floor restaurant. You can only access the hotel from a parking lot 4 hotels away and then walk you way down the walking path from the fountain. Location wise it is a close 5 min walk to sunset beach, shops and restaurants and the #6 bus stop (which takes you to old town in about 10 mins)
