“Leisure in Lapad, You'll love it!!”

The Staff were very welcoming. The Service was fantastic in the restaurant. The rooms were large and extremely comfortable. Lapad was Quiet at night but with loads of great restaurants to eat in. It a tem minute easy bus trip to the Old Town. And form there you can catch a ferry out to Lockrum Island. Make sure you go out there and take some cash for the fine restaurant on the island. Not to be missed

“Dubrovnik Gem”

Uvala nestled on a peninsula close to historical center of Dubrovnik is a gem. 5 min effortless walk to the Adriatic and next to the bus stop where you can catch a shuttle into town easily. Rooms are a little dated (70s Tito kisch?) but the patio views unmatchable and priceless. Definitely high value.

“Utel Uvala”

We stayed 4 nights in August 2007 and have to say it was one of the best. Service was outsatnding, breakfsast memorable and the bus to Dubrovnik stops right outside and goes every 20 minutes. Perhaps a little pricy, the safe in our room didn't work and the room towels are very small.

“very comfortable hotel”

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Uvala. The front desk and restaurant staff treated us in a first class manner. The location of the hotel was great as we had a great view of Lapad Bay from our room. The bus was very accessible to the Old City of Dubrovnik. It truly was a great vacation on many levels.

“Gorgeous views, friendly staff, modern decor, great breakfast”

Great location with sea views. Close to restaurants and plenty of bars. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities good, but you pay extra for some of them.

“Friendly Dubrovnik Hotel in Good Location”

Really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and although the hotel is outside the old town there is a beach and restaurants very close by plus the very efficient local buses stop outside frequently, with the journey into town only about 10 mins. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom was lovely with a really good shower. We only had breakfast in the hotel but that was also extremely good with a wide choice of food.

“Paul and Liz - Uvala is a great hotel”

A very modern hotel. Great view of the bay from the balcony. All staff very helpful and welcoming. Easy bus journey into Dubrovnik from right outside hotel. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely heated indoor pool. Room very comfortable and bathroom had a tub as well as shower. I would certainly stay here again at the right price. Minor complaints - Had to pay to use internet and printer. Mini-bar not cold, but staff always willing to supply ice

“Good location”

The hotel is close to the gate of the delightful Telc city square and by the beautiful lakes/parks. It's prettier on the inside and has obviously been recently decorated. Our continental breakfast was served by a lovely courtyard. We were able to get internet, and the hotel parking lot by the back door was a real plus.

“Very impressed with Uvala”

We stayed at the hotel Uvala in May and were very impressed overall with the cleanliness, the quality of the breakfast buffet, the beautiful and peaceful location, and the great swimming pool. The staff were very competent and friendly, the hotel and room were very clean and well-equipped, and there were also excellent bus connections into Split (only 15 mins or so, and there were busses every 30 mins). Dubrovnik was amazing, if not a little touristy (reminded me of Venice), but it was great to come back to the peace of Lapad for some relaxing r&r by the pool. The hotel also has access to the beach on the Lapad bay, which is in itself very beautiful.

“Great Hotel”

A clean hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Lovely breakfast every morning. Great location with the beach beneath you and the old town only a 15 minute bus ride away.
