A great place to stay in korculaPosted Jun 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room was spacious, clean, and had a very pretty view of the water.the staff was very friendly and very helpful with all our questions, and our mounds of baggage .The manager even took us on a private and most informative tour of their wine celler.we drove all around the island through vineyards and beautiful little towns.Finding the perfect beach was easy,as there were so many to choose from.we chose one with thatched palm umbrellas, and no one charged us ! It was easy to rent a kayak and paddle around the still waters of the cove. The tree lined walk circling the old stone town is charming at sunset .Its a great place to dine and to watch the lovey boats returning to shore.we were there for two very happy nights.

Very friendly, great sea view!Posted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Really friendly service from all the staff and next to the marina. The bedroom we had was a bit small, but it had the best view over the harbour. Breakfast very nice, and the hotel could not have been more welcoming - I certainly recommend this hotel.

The place in Korcula!Posted Aug 19, 2012
Pros: A great, sheltered little beach is no more than 10 feet from the hotel. But really the best thing is the friendly, helpful service - top notch!
Cons: Recurring them on the coast - parking was a serious hassle.
This is an exceptional family-run hotel with only one potential downside - parking in Korcula in August is ... err interesting to say the least. Other than that, as I say - exceptional! The level of service was above and beyond: we were greeted at the door by the owner; we were offered a complementary drink of local fortified wine; bags were dealt with; questions and requests were handled quickly and thoughtfully. As we arrived at the end of a long hot day, we went straight up to the room to freshen up. It was light and fresh and - like all ten rooms in the hotel - had a stunning view of the bay and ocean back towards the mainland peninsula. Dinner at the in-house restaurant was excellent, followed a lazy ten-minute stroll along the ocean front to the walled town of Korcula - just another indescribably beautiful place along the Dalmatian coast. Back to the hotel, and it turns out that they had made a mistake on our reservation. I had booked a "comfort" suite and they had put us in a "standard" room - which was all that was available. A mistake, yes, but I was impressed by how they handled it: they pointed out and apologized for their error (I might not have noticed, the room was so nice!); they corrected the charge on the bill and offered us complementary services by way of apology. A full breakfast is included at the price, and the hotel/owner has an excellent wine cellar. We only stayed two nights - it was so relaxing we could have stayed much longer.

Definitely the place to stay in Korcula! Although no pool, it is located 20 metres from a lovely little pebble beach if you need cooling down from the hot croatian sun! 5 min walk to the old town, and it is excellently located as you feel as though you are away from the hustle and bustle from the touristy old town - although still within easy walking distance. Very friendly service and lovely rooms. Make sure you hire a boat from the old town to explore the neighbouring islands and beautiful little coves for swimming. Great fun

A wonderful hotel on a great islandPosted Jun 29, 2012
Pros: Friendly service and location
Location: Great to be close to attractions, but in quiet surroundings. An easy walk from the bus station, and not too far from the ferry terminal on arrival.
The hotel is located in a quiet part of town across a pedestrian road from a small beach. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was only a few minutes walk to the old town, with restaurants all along the way. The outdoor dining at the restaurant, both in the evening and for breakfast was very pleasant. I would certainly stay again on a visit to Korcula.
Finest Hotel in KorculaPosted Jun 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay in Korcula, by far the nicest hotel Korcula Town has to offer. Make sure you also eat at the hotel, our meal here was the best meal of the whole of Croatia! One thing I would say is that it is slightly expensive compared to other accom, but if you are willing to splash out it is totally worth it! The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated! Cannot complain!!!

Hotel Korsal, KorculaPosted Sep 9, 2011 on Hotels.com
Bit of a mix up on arrival with hotel reservation system. These things happen but it could have been dealt with better. The hotel itself is in a good location with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. We took the catamaran from Hvar to Korcula and it was about a 10 minute walk from the catamaran though we did stop for a drink to get our bearings! The room itself was small but clean with a good shower and fabulous air conditioning which was much appreciated with the hot temperature. A couple of quirks, we had an empty mini bar and despite there being a couple of lovely terraces for coffee or drinks no sign of staff to serve us though this did not in any way spoil our stay. On the whole I would recommend.
