Good accom and great facilities - service issuesPosted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Site, pools, beach, table tennis, sports centre
Cons: Service and general staff helpfulness - wanting to go the extra mile
Location: Resort is out of Dubrovnik but good as town is hugely busy in August. One trip in and a good fish meal was enough for us. Local kayaking was excellent
Just a 4 day trip.Clean, spacious, well set up apartment, a bit stark, in hotel resort with top facilities, beach/ pools and sports wise. Extras are all expensive and none of the resort arranged trips (kayaking and boat trip) provided free water (as we've experienced in Turkey, Greece etc). Resort service wasn't where it should have been. We arrived two hours late, hungry after a delayed EZY flight at 11pm to be directed to the main hotel bar for a bar snack, but then told (by a grumpy bar person) 'my kitchen closed at 9' so we had pretty inferior room service food. No-one escorted us to the room or explained how the AC worked or told us the resort grocery shop closed early on Sunday - so having shelled out £75 for breakfast on Sunday morning, we then failed to buy Monday's breakfast (when we tried to do so later on Sunday pm) as we we were leaving early (just after the shop opened) on Monday for a boat trip. Give the 'elephant islands' boat trip to hugely touristy and Magaluf-like Lopud a miss. Sea kayaking was an excellent trip.

Lovely hotelPosted Jul 15, 2015
This is a great hotel spread along the coastline so it feels very spacious. Restaurants were very good and the spa was excellent. My room had plenty of wardrobe space, but unfortunately all half-height hanging space, so knee length dresses were creased. It had a spacious wet room, but there was no slope on the floor so the entire bathroom flooded. The hotel was quick to sort this out and moved me to a room with a bathroom. Overall a lovely holiday in a beautiful setting.

very nice hotel, close to beach and restaurants.Posted Jul 9, 2015
Cons: pillows, there was only feather and very flat
Location: The location is beautiful, but need a car to get around, although there is a hotel bus to take you into Dubrovnik Old Town, water sports, sailing. etc
We had exactly what we went for "a relaxing holiday" the hotel is very comfortable with excellent facilities, a good range of restaurants and although the hotel can accommodate 1000 people it never felt too busy, staff are very polite and helpful. We had a fantastic holiday and looking forward to returning, maybe do some exploring next time.

Very good hotel but quite expensivePosted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Choice of pools with plenty of beds and good-sized sun umbrellas. Clean, spacious room with a good sized balcony. Plenty of wardrobe space.
Cons: More or larger sun umbrellas at the beach (the sun can be quite strong). More varied choice of food across the resort.
Location: Dubrovnik is hot and often crowded if several cruise ships docked. Best to go after 5pm. Trsteno Arboretum worth a visit, 5 min by car from Radisson.
We stayed at the Radisson in June 2012 and liked it very much, so we decided to return for 10 days in June 2015. The hotel is of a high standard. There are also self-catering apartments included in the same complex, so the resort has three excellent swimming pools and a variety of restaurants. However in spite of that we found the range of food choices across the resort was rather limited. The hotel's main restaurant provides an excellent breakfast choice, but the evening buffet didn't offer much choice of food and at £22 per head (without drinks) was not particularly cheap. However the snack bar in Reception served good light meals. Unless you go into Dubrovnik (15 min drive) there is nowhere else to eat. However we love the hotel, the grounds and the pools. There are a number of shops and a supermarket on-site. The hotel also has its own private shingle beach, and a jetty for boats to Dubrovnik or the islands. Altogether a very relaxing holiday.

June visitorPosted Jun 22, 2015
Excellent hotel and service. The information about the bars on the website needs an update, it's quiet in June. Seems the adult nightlife is restricted to July and August meaning taxis to Old Town are a better bet in June but as a modern hotel, there's little to criticise. A phenomnal location, beautiful beach with spectacular swimming, superb spa and pleasant staff.

Beautiful setting and close to DubrovnikPosted Jun 4, 2015
Pros: Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Well set up for a family
Cons: Not much needs any improvement
Location: Dubrovnik, and island tours + boating
We are a family of four with two children ages 10 & 14. We stayed in the facilities 2 bedroom apartment with a private terrace and a sea view. The view was spectacular and the apartment was clean and spacious. There are ample facilities on site for relaxation and entertainment (3 pools and 4 or 5 restaurants plus a small private beach and a boat dock) plus shops and a grocery store for food, clothing and sports equipment. It was really set up as a small city and almost a home away from home. The staff was excellent and helpful plus Dubrovnik and local entertainments were close and easy to get to.

Pros: Lots of facilities Child friendly
Cons: More frequent transfers to Dubrovnik Old Town
Lovely family-friendly resort. Good eating options. Overall, very pleased. The only quibble is that it is isolated from Dubrovnik Old Town, so more frequent transport options to the town would be appreciated.

Hotel in stunning locationPosted May 5, 2015
We had a super stay. Well looked after by attentive staff and the facilities were great. Only slight let down was the English breakfast but the continental one was fab. Would certainly stay again!
