Amazing views. No complaints at all about the property. Quite a lot of steps or walk up a hill to the apartment so a consideration for those who aren’t as physical able. But we loved our stay!

Beautiful view, Clean and comfortable Villa.
We stayed here with our 2.5y old girl and had an amazing time. I emailed beforehand to arrange for airport pickup. When we arrived the driver was waiting and gave us fantastic tips for our trip. Arriving at the villa someone was waiting to show us to our room which was clean with the most beautiful view over lapad beach. A bed has been set up for our girl and there is air-con which is a must during the summer season. Walking to the beach is 5-10 depending how fast you walk. Walking up all the steps is difficult no matter who you are during the heat but the price you pay for a beautiful view from the location. The swimming pool at the villa was just perfect for us and most fun for our little one. The best place to cool off after returning from exploring in the heat. If we go to this location again I would definitely stay here again. I saw the negative reviews beforehand but can now say we cannot say anything bad and had a great time, Thank you!

Trevliga dagar i Lapad.
Fantastiskt att öppna upp balkongdörren och mötas av havsutsikt. Bra balkong att sitta och både äta och slappa på. Bra dubbelsäng och bäddsoffa att sova i. Hyfsat bra utrustat i köket. Från strandpromenaden och upp till lägenheten är det ca 200 trappsteg närmaste vägen. En liten lagom stor bassäng att ta ett dopp i efter en dag på stranden, ingen pool vi skulle ligga vid hela dagen.

Marvellous!
Our first Croatia visit and we were not disappointed. Villa Katarina overlooks the beautiful little bay of Lapad, a suburb of Dubrovnik. Beautifully appointed accommodation and lovely staff. A real kindness was the staff found out it was my wife's birthday and gave us a bottle of superb wine.

Clean apartment. Rude owners.
Spent 5 nights in apartment . Clean with all necessary amenities. Owner became unpleasant when we requested a fold up Bed for 12 year old daughter as sofa bed not comfortable for two. He also tried to charge tourist tax for 9 year old child. Children under 12 are exempt according to the law. Small pool available but too much chlorine used which burned everyone's skin. Overall , I would not recommend this apartment due to rude and hostile manner of the owners when simple requests were made.

Loved the room, but wish the pool had been open!
We arrived at the end of September and were really looking forward to a day relaxing by (and in!) the pool. Had booked this property specifically for that reason, so it was disappointing to arrive and see that the pool had already been emptied for the season. The lady who checked us in said that it was too cold for pool (it was 25-28 degrees while we were there and full sunshine). We understood that a lot of things start to close for the season in mid October, so I don't see why they would not just keep the pool open until then. Every guest we spoke to was disappointed as well and thought it was plenty hot (especially after walking up the stairs) for a dip in the pool. DO use the Kompas hotel just down the road's lift to get down to the beach area. Their food is also good and reasonably priced - view from that lobby are fantastic. We did love the hotel, everything was very clean and in good working order, would have been 5 stars if the pool had been open as advertised.

Clean apartment with walk to Lapad
I enjoyed the location of the apartments however there are a lot of steps- not recommended for disabled access. The apartment was comfortable and we also had our laundry washed for free which was great. There is a small pool but no towels are provided for pool use (this would have been handy for us as we were on a long trip to Europe with no room for a beach towel). Towel change over is every 3 days. I asked before the 3 days for a change as it was very hot and we were using the towels a lot but the manager was less than happy about this and I basically begged for fresh towels. Another thing that I didn't like was that there was only 4 plates, 4 glasses, 4 bowls etc- a few extra would be nice. The wifi is useless and barely exists. The manager I didn't find pleasant to deal with - this could partly be due to the language barrier.

Olimme ilmoittaneet tuloaikamme, josta hieman myöhästyimme. Vastaanotto oli tympeää ja epäkohteliasta, kuten myös lähtiessä pois. Siitä jäi ikävä fiilis. Viikon aikana emme nähneet omistajia kertaakaan. Ilmastointi ei toiminut laisinkaan. Viikon aikana huonetta ei siivottu kertaakaan. Jouduimme pyytämään puhtaita pyyhkeitä. Ruokailuvälineistö oli kovin niukka.

Hello from Villa Katarina, With out any pretending to comment your fillings, I am obliged to correct the statement which are not corresponding to the thruth. -All gusts in Villa Katarina are wormly welcomed and received by my wife or myself, explaining about the area (neareist shop, bus station, beach, restaurants etc. We give full explanation of the apartment and all apliancies in. -Apartments are changing towels every three days, with small cleaning, and complete cleaning and changing linen and towels every seven days . In a mean time we give extra towels if request, and it is given to them, as well due to complete damage of towels using on a beach(not in apartment only) - All kitchen of the apartments are fully equipped, taking in consideration of all detail even for the smallest things. Has very nice view with modern style interor. I do not ware shoes in my room, but have to do cause floor was not so clean. owner was perfectly kind and helpful, gave us very warm welcoming and so on. 10 min walk to the bus stop to go old town and to the beach,but it was not so easy cause of too many steps. its a very nice apt to a long term visitors but maybe not a best to short term like us. Although, we have a great time here, thanx for every thing.

Suosittelen!
Olimme n. 50 neliön kaksiossa, huoneessa oli makuuhuone ja yhdistetty keittiö&olohuone. Huone oli todella siisti ja mahdollisti ruuanlaiton, koska keittiö oli hyvin vartusteltu (hella, leivänpaahdin, mikro, kahvi&vedenkeitin, astiasto, perusmausteet). Uima-allas oli pieni mutta siisti. Altaan ympärillä oli muutamia aurinkotuoleja. Sopivat hyvin aamun aloitukseen. Palvelu oli ihan hyvää. Saimme omistajalta kartan ja opastuksen kuinka pääsee parhaiten vanhaan kaupunkiin ja uimarannoille. Vanhaan kaupunkiin matkaa hotellilta oli vajaa kilometrin kävely bussipysäkille ja n. 15min bussilla. Autolla toki pääsee myös, mutta halvempi ja helpompi vaihtoehto on ottaa bussi. Rannalle matkaa hotellilta oli noin 10min kävellen. Mäkistä seutua, joten kävely hotellille päin on kiipeämpistä.

Really nice, clean and comfortable room but was slightly lacking in privacy due to being on the ground floor overlooking the (very small!) pool. Great view over Lapad bay and friendly helpful staff though. Try to get an upstairs room and the beach is only a short walk away if you want a proper swim.

Lovely little apartment with a beautiful view
This little block was set back from the beach, making it lovely and quiet. The pool and view were great. We really enjoyed relaxing and eating every night on our private balcony. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 3 jours dans cet hôtel, qui en réalité n'en est pas vraiment, c'est plutôt une location d'appartements dans une grande propriété à flanc de colline (pas de réception ni d'autres services d'hôtel). C'est près de la plage mais il y a au moins 300 marches d'escaliers à descendre... puis à remonter ! Dubrovnik, magnifique, est accessible facilement en bus et en voiture c'est un peu plus compliqué... et à pied ça fait loin ! La chambre était très propre, et la piscine (grande baignoire plutôt) était très agréable ! Les hôtes étaient assez distant mais c'est la mentalité croate...

Nytt, pent og rent. Flott utsikt. For den som kommer vår og høst og vil nyte sola på balkongen, velg en annen av leilighetene. Midtsommer, er det antagelig en sval balkong i kveldstimene. Flotte svaberg ved sjøen. For den som er dårlig til bens, 225 trappetrinn til sjøen eller litt slak vei å gå. Parkeringen? Virket kanskje litt kaotisk i området. Vår bil ble stående, fordi været var så bra at vi badet og gikk tur, dato 11. til 18. april. Meget bra lunch - sjømat - på restaurant nede ved sjøkanten. Også bra lunch på høyre side innenfor vestre port inne i Gamlebyen - til sviskejazz. Grei spasertur fra hotellet, ca 4 km hver vei til sentrum. Fin spasertur lang sjøen på opparbeidet sti.

Very clean and comfortable apartments
Very pleased with accommodation. It was clean and well equipped. Owner very helpful during our stay and made it a pleasurable experience. General area was nice, and great for our two girls aged 7and 9 who enjoyed the play parks just along from the beach front whilst we enjoyed a relaxing drink in a bar watching.old town just a short bus trip away, and great walks in area.

Lovely clean apartments with great views.
Had a great holiday. Lovely clean apartment with most things needed ( could have done with a proper oven ). Owners very welcoming and helpful. Great views of the bay. Up a hill so maybe unsuitable for some people but used the lift at he hotel Kompass to get most o the way. Bus stop at the bottom of the hill - 5 minutes walk. 10 minute bus ride to the old town - not to be missed.

Hotel was modern and clean. Manager of the hotel friendly and helpful. From the balcony we had excellent views to the sea. Way to the bus stop was suitable. We gladly recommend this place. There was also possibility recycling the waste.
