“Quite place for relaxing”

That is a small complex of villas, hotels, tavernas, shops, excursions. Everything you need to spend your time comfortable and pleasurable you can find in Plat. The main feature is a swimming pool that is the greatest benefit. Of course there are private beaches. That is a place to come again and again. Nice rest for real price!

“Great for a relaxing base”

I stayed in a self catering studio apartment for four nights with my boyfriend. The kitchen was quite small but was sufficient enough for us to make some simple meals, like spaghetti bolognese, and it was lovely to sit on the balcony looking out on the sea drinking a beer and eating our dinner. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel and it cost about £15 which seemed pretty reasonable. The hotel runs a shuttle bus into Dubrovnik but we opted for the local bus which is a quarter of the price, and the stop is just a ten minute walk from the complex (although the bus drivers cram as many people as possible on the the bus - so the journey can be quite hectic). The pool area is beautiful, on a terrace overlooking a crystal clear bay, and the salt water pool was perfectly clean. There's a small shop on site where you can get breakfast essentials and cold drinks, although no suncream which was a bit strange. The reception staff were really welcoming and multilingual so were able to answer all of our questions! The location on the hotel was perfect as you could spend all day lounging by the pool looking at the beautiful views and then hop on the bus and in 20 minutes be strolling through the amazing old streets in Dubrovnik. I highly recommend villas plat as a great base for a relaxing break, not too far from all the sites and excitement of Dubrovnik.

“Croatia 2011”

The staff was most helpful and the villla was in a good location to the sea, The food was acaccommodating. The resort had mini mart and many restaurants. It was a very family friendly resort with a beautiful pool and friendly staff.
