Good basic hotelPosted Jun 8, 2009 on Hotels.com
Anyone familiar with travel lodge inns in the UK will be familair with this type of hotel. Good basic accomodation, howevr on its plus side it does have its own bar and breakfast was good. The hotel is a bit away from town but a brisk walk and you are in the centre or there is an Aldis not far away. Ambient noise was not bad even with the window open. All in all a cost effective business stay of a week.

CB Comfort Business HotelPosted Jun 23, 2008
The hotel is no frills what-so-ever and there is nothing near the hotel to eat. However the hotel was comfortable even without AC, and very clean. The hotel was also located conveniently for commuting to Dusseldorf.

No Frills - but is clean and comfortable - Swissotel betterPosted Mar 26, 2008
Hotel is extreme no frills hotel. Very basic room without A/C - but there is a bathroom with shower. Hotel looks like office complex and sign is very small so keep eye out! I passed twice even with navigation! No restaurant, excpet for breakfast - but Dusseldorf and Neuss center have manynice places if you don't mind driving. Swissotel on the rheinstrasse is much, much nicer if you can get similar rates. Be careful of swissotel food and drinks - the ultimate rip-off! Better off eating in town. Much better food and even though the restauants in towns are not cheap - are a bargain compared to swissotel!

Good for BusinessPosted Feb 29, 2008 on Hotels.com
This is a plain, no frills hotel that caters to those passing through on business. It is oddly located in the back of what appears to be an office building from the road with little signage to direct you to the hotel entrance. If you find yourself saying, "I am in the middle of a commercial district and don't see any signs of this hotel," then you are very close. Look hard for the "Hotel" and "Hertz" signs and go to the back of the building. My room was spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I still can't get used to the beds in German hotels; very low to the ground and only a mattress with a comforter and pillows. However, the pillows were comfortable which is always appreciated. The wireless internet worked well and the morning coffee was good. This is a good hotel at this price point and I will stay there again if I find myself in Neuss.
