may be good for whom is looking for cheap place
not in the center of Dusseldorf. not many choices for dinner. you have to make your own bed, and you have to go to the front desk for sheets,cases and towels. no wifi in the room. It is just a hostel!

Colossal RIPOFF and misrepresented room
Be VERY careful you understand what you are booking when you choose this hostel. I thought I was getting an ensuite single-person room when really I was getting a place in a four-person room. The snotty receptionists told me that for 48 Euros, what more could I expect than to share such a room with three perfect strangers? They ended up pushing a small room for 146 EUROS on me because they knew I was exhausted and nightfall was coming. That is the most I have paid ANYWHERE in the 81 countries I've been to, and I did NOT get SOAP, a TOWEL, or WIFI with my stay. RIDICULOUS. Dusseldorf is expensive but this place is out for your wallet like no place I have ever experienced. Learn from my experience and go elsewhere!

Clean cheap and friendly
Cheap easy and overall good hotel. The shower was brilliant and clean. Also the girls on front desk were great and more than willing to help with questions and booking taxis etc. Only downside is the 10am checkout and that the hotel it a good 25-30 minute walk from the old town.

Recently went to the Dusseldorf Boat Show, most places where sold out but I found this hostel on the internet and decided to give it a chance and was rewarded with an excellent stay at a fairly decent price.

World Class Un-Hostel experience for a senior
This may be the world's best or close to it for quite location on Rhein river, for total experience. and for the design of the overall buildings

Its not a hotel, it's a hostel
Far from city, located in a residential neighbourhood, medium price without any basic facilities whatsoever except sleep n bath. You even need to pay separately for towel in the bath. Breakfast they have nothing except few breads n jam some cheap fruit juice. Don't expect any warm food, they don't have any kitchen in breakfast bar territory. You have to make your own, they just leave linen on your bed. Literally nothing in the bathroom except toilet roll, not even a basic hand wash, or small soap. I would recommend people to go to any chain hotel or independent hotel even if you need 10-20eur more. At least you can have decent sleep with basic.
