Close to central train station but otherwise not a great location. Lots of homeless and drug addicts lingering around the immediate area. Basic room, terrible shower, needs major update. Staff is great; super friendly, energetic and helpful. Really good bar.

Hotel bar is excellent. The room was on the shabby chic end of the scale & very hot! Noise of other guests talking loudly didn’t help for restful night’s sleep. Convenient for the station

Great hotel close to the main train station. Loved the design of the lobby and room. Very original! Staff was super friendly. I appreciated the extra amenities in the room like a straightening iron. Would definitely stay there again!

This was a great stay for our one night in Duesseldorf. Everything was very clean and staff were great. Rooms are uniquely decorated with comfortable beds. Would certainly stay here again!

Great stay at the centrally located hotel.
The hotel has interesting décor and each room has its own unique style. Ours was based around the Rolling Stones. The ground floor has the feel of a high end hostel and has a nice bar for a quiet/casual drink. Our room was a good size, with a separate room with a desk and sofa, which was useful for remote working. It is around a 15 minute walk to the centre of Old Town where the majority of bars and restaurants are. Negatives were: bathroom was slightly cramped, no safe in the room for valuables, and still using a key for entry to the rooms rather than a card. Would happily stay again.

Definatly worth every penny. Highly recommend
This place is definatly worth the money. Its gives out this classic American rock and roll vibe. Check in was really easy and fast, staff was friendly, lobby looked great plus had number of different board games you can play with your familly and friends. Pay the $15 breakfast fee because it's worth it. Only down side is that hotel got no AC. When it's really hot it's hard to sleep. Would recommend and definatly come back

Trendy, clean and great value for money.
The hotel is very trendy and has some lovely communal spaces. The room was clean and comfortable though basic. Great value for money so you have to be willing to make some compromises: The room could do with updating but the bathroom is quite modern. There is no AC and a lot of road noise when the windows are open. Though the location worked for my business trip, the area wasn’t the best.

Convenient short stay choice
Decent boutique style hotel. Great for younger travellers and also couples. Local area is not the best but close to station and around a 20 minute walk to the centre. Good choice for a short stay if locale is not too high on your agenda. Room was compact but clean and bathroom though tiny had a great shower!

Great hotel and great value!
Great hotel, good location about a 10/15 minute walk from the old town although cafes etc available in the local area which felt very safe. Friendly service on reception and nice room, breakfast was good and we enjoyed it however we went down around 40 mins before it ended and there wasn’t that much left of the hot food. Despite this I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I was in Düsseldorf as it was great value!

Unique hotel with personality
It was a very unique and artful hotel- but in a good way. The staff was nice, the room was decorataed with a vintage touch. The bar was coozy and the drinks were great. It's a cool spot for folks that aren't impressed with the hotels with expensive chandeliers hanging in the lobby.

Great hotel, location was good, easy to get to U Bahn station. Staff so friendly! Only negative thing was, we were woken up by cleaning staff on our last day at 9 am, little annoying but still a great stay and would definitely recommend

Great hotel close to train station
Staff very helpful. Rooms exceptionally clean. I was in the Harry Potter room which was fun and functional. On business, I came in late and the bar and food were available. Great location near train station. Nespresso machine in room. Even a hair straightener. Would recommend for business and pleasure. Easy walk to old town and inner city trains as well as major train station.

I have probably stayed in this hotel about 6 or 7 times. Its in a good location for my group and they have been super accommodating to us in the past. ...they give us rooms on the same floor if they can, they generally treat us very well, like old friends, seriously. This time the new staff was not as nice but they were OK. I will go back again

Unique hotel close to main central train station.
The directions to the hotel from the airport were easy to follow. The hotel was well positioned for local transport options although I prefer to walk and found it easy to reach the shopping area and art galleries on foot. The bed was comfortable but I would recommend earplugs for light sleepers. The hotel decor was unique and modern. All in all I would recommend this hotel to couples, single travellers and business travellers.

Good hotel, esp for the price.
A clean, nice hotel with friendly staff, walkable from the train station or Japan town. The room sizes are generous and kept up well. I go to Düsseldorf on the occaision, so most likely will stay at again. If you are driving, make sure you call to get the address of the parking lot. It is near and easy to get to, but not immediately obvious.

Even though the hotel is doing plenty to try and keep up with the crop of new hotels in DUS it falls short of a few basics. No English TV at all in my room and the smell of bacon fills the hotel on every floor in the morning. For the rest its fine.

The hotel was a great place to stay. We stayed for a week. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean though the bathroom was a little cramped. Our biggest complaint would be the noise. The front of the hotel faces a 3 street intersection and there's a lot of street noise that comes through the windows.

A hidden gem
If you stand outside the building, you'd never guess such a wonderfully unique Boutique hotel is hidden behind. Our room was huge with the biggest bed I've ever slept in, armchairs, a big TV, dining area and more. The bathroom was small but clean and the location very close to the city centre, Tonhalle, Rhine and especially the train station is great. It's at a crossing, so a little noisy, but the windows shield the noise off quite well.

Nicest hotel surprise after 5 months in Europe!
I needed a hotel close to the Dusseldorf Hbf. This hotel was a few minutes walk away. At first I wondered what I had gotten myself into as I had to "buzzed in" off the street along a worn down block. But once inside the reception area and then my room, what a surprise! Very large room with sitting area. I could have entertained if I had been so inclined. Didn't take advantage of the lovely breakfast I saw in the morning but would advise enjoying it if you have time!

Great rate through hotels.com, very friendly receptionist, good advice of what to see in Dusseldorf. Within short walking distance from Dusseldorf Hauptbanhof. Would stay again. Room small but with character on 4th floor.

arrived at 1, were told check in wasn't until 4. 5 minute walk to the train station , 10 minute walk to city centre. If you are after a basic hotel at a good rate then this hotel does the job. Had ordered a twin room but got a twin which also had a separate single room.
