Terrible service
Booked five rooms on business. One of them was not cleaned on arrival and, in spite of promising to fix this soonest, we returned four hours later (ready for bed) to find nothing had been done about it. In my own room, the sheets were stained. The receptionists on the evening shift seemed like they both started that day, couldn't understand the most basic of instructions, generally looked shell-shocked, stressed and out-of-their depth. decent staff in the morning and in the kitchen but we stayed here five years ago and the breakfast was amazing. Now it was reduced to a fraction of its former glory. Won't be coming here again.

New and state of the art - friendly staff etc but room 116 was very noisy and the bedding - sheets etc are not allergy tested - my sleep was okey but not again

I booked a king bed at Hotels.com. When I got to the room it was two twin beds connected together. The lady from the reception was extremely rude about this. I think if people in the hospitality industry cannot be nice to guests they need to find a new job. The hotel has large rooms. I stayed in the Deluxe room. The bar is also quite nice. Parking is free on the weekends.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay in this hotel. I expected a pleasant room, instead it was a dingy little room that didn't even have a proper bathtub, only a tiny shower in the middle of the room.

A very nice stay
Clean, modern and comfortable room and very pleasant and helpful staff. They must have fixed the wi-fi issues others reported because I was using wi-fi on two devices all the time and it worked perfectly, even when handling large files. A short taxi ride to the Messe Dusseldorf - the taxis line up at the Novotel across the street so it's easy to get around. There isn't much within walking distance, though.

Ok - but there are better hotels close by.
Small rooms compared to others in the area. Shades didn't open in the room so I had the lights on even though it was sunny outside. When I mentioned this to the staff they told me the shades move with the sunlight but mine never moved - other rooms didn't seem to have a problem opening the shades. Breakfast is OK but Mercure and courtyard are better. Restaurant is very expensive. Wifi was bad so I ended up paying extra for it. Limited TV channels compared to Marriott. Lots of mass concrete walls and metal made it look like an institution. Shower and sink are open to the room so if you are sharing it wouldn't be ideal. Room was hot even with Air-Con on full blast - but it the weather was very hot in general.

Lovely modern hotel Three remarks 1. Shower in room is all open plan no probs if your with the mrs But hey what happens when your staying with colleagues / friends or the kids Shower is all open plan totally see throu to whole of room it’s a glass bottle in middle of rooom 2. Nearest tram /train Stn is only 250 m away But no mention that it shuts at 1900 week days And limited service on weekends 3. Restaurant has a very limited menu No where to get any thing to eat after 2200 And one other remark makes me smile The name INNSIDE it’s true to its name The hotel floors 6 are all set out just like prison wings minus the suicide nets Did make us chuckle

Convenient Hotel for business. Rooms are good although not big. Wifi needs improvement and the free Wifi was only 100MB/day and I questioned the receptionist which changed my subscription for an unlimited plan with 3Mbps download and 1Mbps upload. Small amount of International TV channels.

Great Hotel, very classy and high end feel!
Great Hotel, Rooms are very nicely laid out and very clean and modern. Has a very high class and expensive feel to the hotel. Only complaint was the pillows were a bit soft. Would of liked a choice of different firmness stored in the cupboard.

Good business travel hotel
Overall ok if you are on business. Well designed building but on the simple side. Rooms meant for one; the wall dividing the bathroom from the room is all glass. i.e. no privacy when taking a shower if two people in the room. Good breakfast buffet. Other meals, limited menu with few choices, but food quality excellent. Bar well stocked, but not much in the room's mini-bar. Staff try to be helpful but limited in the service they can provide. Sixt car rental location at hotel convenient, but more expensive then airport. Not so good: We traveled for a trade show and had a hard time finding a room anywhere. This hotel said they had a room with two beds. Other then the shower problem already mentioned, the room we were given only had a queen. The staff apologized but could not give us a room with two beds; they set up a separate cot for us which wasn't too comfy. The air-conditioning didn't work too well (June). The room would get stuffy, even with the window cracked open.

Room smelled eggy on entry. Aircon insufficient was 35 degrees and it may as well have been off (May be it was) parking real issue as only 5 Free spaces outside hotel otherwide if lucky you could find street parking failing that €20/ night. Ouch. Hotel reminds me of a modern high-tech prison with its concrete walls and grey railings. Wouldn't stay here again. Staffing real shortage and one receptionist thought he could cover up issues buy giving condescending answers to simple questions. Plus side, Beds are comfortable but squeak when you turn.
