Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good location - in a quiet area but close enough to walk to the action!

Good view over the parkPosted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: The comfort and the convenience
Location: Lots to see in the Alt Stadt with many cafes and restaurants. Up market shopping around Konigs Allee. Riverside walks and TV tower views.
The hotel was in a nice clean condition and the staff were helpful with check in and checkout. It is very convenient for Konigs Allee and for the Alt Stadt, which is what you need in D: City. The room on the front gives a good view of the park which is better than a room on the rear, which can suffer a bit from tram noise. The trams and the U Bahn give convenient access to the railway station and you are less than an hour from the airport.

Lovely location overlooking the parkPosted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Location, comfortable bed,
Cons: Breakfast and helpfulness of the staff at reception
Location: Walk in the park or to the River and the Old Town
This is a modern hotel overlooking the park. The location is both attractive and convenient. It's a ten minute taxi ride to the station and a ten minute walk to the Old Town and the Rhine River. The bed was really comfortable but breakfast was rather boring.

Happy Holidays!Posted Dec 27, 2013
Pros: Easy access to Old Town. Excellent dinner at Aqua.
Cons: The bed. Supposed to be a queen bed. Instead it was two smaller beds pushed together and they didn't quite line up. Not comfortable.
Location: A 10-minute walk to Old Town through the park.
Overall, nice hotel. We were there on Christmas Eve, so most everything in the Old Town was shut down, except for the bars. People were out having a grand time celebrating the holiday. We arrived around 3pm. Hotel is right at the edge of the park. A quick walk across and you are in the Old Town area. Very convenient. We had made a dinner reservation in the hotel's Aqua Restaurant. It was a fixed menu that was absolutely incredible!

Nice hotel 10 mins from centrePosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: The young girls working in the Aqua bar were very helpful and could not do enough for you-asking every 5 minutes if 'everything was ok'
Cons: We recently stayed in munich and thought the breakfast there was expensive-but to be told that it would be 25 euros each was a bit of a shock!!
Location: The hotel is in a good location for the old town and visiting the Xmas markets-but in a quieter area.
We recently stayed for 3 nights - the hotel looked very welcoming with all the Xmas decorations and beautiful trees. Staff were very helpful upon check in-although we arrived early at 11 a room was available straightaway. Rooms were very nice and clean with a lovely large comfy bed-but the view was nothing special! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room-which is something you think they would get right for the English tourist. The City Centre was only a 10 minute walk away through the hofgarten and very pleasant. We were also under the impression that it was free wifi but there was a charge!
