Average. Don’t pay for superior rooms
Paid extra for a room for 2 beds but it’s the same as the cheaper rooms with a bed and sofa bed. Bar was closed which was annoying and not mentioned when booking

The increasing spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 poses a particular challenge for all of us. The safety and well-being of our guests and employees is always our highest priority.
On 29.02.2020 the ProWein fair was cancelled by the organisers and the initial idea was to postpone the fair until summer 2020.
We fully understand that you wish to cancel your booking for this reason and we fully respect the difficulties and the scale of this decision, which was taken after weighing up all risks and in close cooperation with the relevant authorities.
The exhibition will not be postponed within 2020 as originally announced, but will be cancelled altogether for this year. However, as the cancellation of the event is not within our competence, we are nevertheless obliged to calculate the regular cancellation fee on the basis of our general terms and conditions and ask for your understanding.

Very tired building in need of renovation
But mainly let down by a lack of staff, Bar not open
Service in restaurant took for ever- Desert never actually arrived at all, we gave up and went to bed.
Claimed facilities don’t really exist.
Pool is outdoor and not in use. Gym is a converted room with 2 pieces of basic equipment bought from Argos
There are much better hotels in the area.

The room was a good size , clean ,tidy & quiet. Nice desk area to work at.
Staff on reception were very helpful - organising taxis & answering any questions I had on the area. I didn't explore the local area as I was working in the centre of Dusseldorf. The only negative I had was its position in relation to the centre ,traffic is very heavy & the journey can take up to an hour at peak times & a taxi can cost 50 Euro's.

Not our first choice as we wanted to be in Dusseldorf, but music event filled local hotels. It was a fairly comfortable room with some free drinks. Only issue was that the large bed did'nt leave much room to get out between the bed and bathroom wall (25cm). Friendly and helpful staff. Close to local supermarkets and restaurants. Parking at hotel only €3 per night.

Ok for business
Good for a short business trip. Hotel is looking a little tired though. Plus there is extra charges for parking, when there shouldn’t be really.
An old Novotel been revamped. Breakfast however was good and the breakfast team are very welcoming as too are the reception staff

Old hotel.
You have to cross the restaurant to go the swimming pool and there are no changing facilities so people in swimming costume are crossing back and forth the dinning room.
Our shower head was leaky. No air conditioning in our room but you can open the window and listen to trucks on the highway nearby.

Carpets were in poor shape. Room and hallways were somewhat smelly. Room was otherwise clean, breakfast good. Garage pretty tight and luggage has to be carried up the stairs

Good business style hotel
Good hotel with clean comfortable rooms (no aircon in mine but only an issue on a rare hot summers night).
Check in and out was as expected. Swift and friendly.
Not much around the hotel but you don't pick his hotel for walks into the city centre. Taxi can be called by the hotel staff.
Overall, it's a decent hotel so long as you don't choose it for walking into the centre.

Hotel was ok, fairly near to airport
The hotel was fairly near Düsseldorf airport and had plenty of parking. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. The room was ok, although could have done with painting as there were dirty marks across the wall but it was clean and tidied everyday. The location was fairly noisy with it being near to busy road and people coming and going in the car park which are room fronted on to. My husband had to ring reception at 4am on our last day and ask if someone could go outside and tell some youths to move on, which they did!

I thought this hotel was misleading in its description as it was not in Dusseldorf or in Neuss but in a very unattractive suburb. I had a client with me and when we finally found the hotel the road was a dead end and a gang of men started giving us very unfriendly stares. We felt unsafe and the hotel,if we could get the car to it, looked uninviting. We both decided to drive in Dusseldorf and book a hotel. I paid for the rooms but I am now wary of on line descriptions.

Too far from Dusseldorf
The Hotel was clean , the staff was friendly and spoke English. The problem was if you are trying to get to the tradefair it took an hour by train or cost 40 Euro by cab each way so I don't recommend it if you need to get to the Messe.
There are no restaurants around except the one in the hotel where the food is ok not fantastic.

Hotel was really nice, we stayed there for one night and it was fine, but if you are not coming with a car as we did you are stuck there. It is pretty far from the main town and there is not much to do around. I recommand to come with a car if you plan to stay there.

I stayed with my family at Mercure for a night can't say anything bad about the hotel we were greeted very well and had a very good sleep on our trip across Europe. Staff speaks English ok .

The hotel can easily be reached by Autobahn, though it is a bit outside Neuss and Duesseldorf center. It is located in a residential area. A few restaurants and a large shopping complex are close by. Our room was spacious, we had free, fast Internet access, and all facilities had been in good shape.
