Villa Viktoria

Pros: The sweets at the entrance and cakes! lol!
Cons: The two single beds
Location: Round the corner from a shop and an Irish pub. Taxis on call to take you to the Altstadt (10 Euros)
Asked for a double room and got two single beds that couldn't be locked together!! Apart from that, superb and would go again!

Excellent staff and extra large rooms.

Pros: The friendly staff and extra spacious rooms.
Location: Quiet neighbourhood.
This was a beautiful hotel in a quiet area of the city with an easy 30 minute walk to the hub of the old city. The rooms were enormous. The staff were very accommodating and always smiling. The breakfast was plentiful and had a lot of variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location - 2 mins walk from Derendorfer Allee business district and simple access to the rest of the city. Hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful with all of my requests. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure (absolutely huge rooms with well equipped kitchen area, dining area, separate bedroom, spacious bathroom with good shower and bath, lounge area with large tv).

With Tram just around the corner its not far to city centre. Stayed one night but if we had needed to stay longer breakfast would have been sourced else where! 19€

From the moment we arrived was made to feel so welcome, polite, friendly, informative staff. The rooms were huge with everything you could need, nice and clean, breakfast selection was the best we'd seen while driving through europe. Only a short taxi ride to the old town, which is well worth a visit, good night life for couple's,familys or single travellers.

Very enjoyable stay

Pros: Comfy bed and bedding and spacious rooms
Cons: creeky floor boards and slightly dated
Location: Absolutely fine
The hotel was very good value for money, very comfortable, especially the beds and the little touches in the room left you wanting for nothing. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The location was really good too, handy for the airport and for town.

Super-Nice Hotel. Great for long stays.

Pros: Spacious rooms- really a studio.
Cons: The kitchenette had no pots, pans, plates or silverware.
Location: Residential. Quiet, a school across the street. Seems safe. A supermarket and pharmacy a block away. 5 restaurants within a 2 block radius.
Ample rooms, comfortable, quiet. More like a large studio. The train station is 2 blocks away, from there you can get anywhere. Downtown and the old city would be within 20-25 minutes reach approx. The Convention Center 30-40 mins away. The neighborhood is residential, very quiet. The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. The breakfast menu is a delight, with 30 different jams and jelly's, a variety of good fresh breads, juices, cheeses, hams, cereals also hot food: eggs, pancakes etc. No lunch or dinner. There's wireless internet throughout the hotel- a little slow. 5euros. There's elevators; only getting luggage to the lobby is a 10 step, mild challenge.

Huge room, Good for Business or pleasure

What a surprise...having stayed at several dusseldorf hotels over the last 10 years (twice a year) ...and been annoyed at the usual lack of space and inadequate lighting. this hotel has massive rooms at good rates with more than adequate lighting. Only two gripes, we stayed when th temperature dropped really low (-9deg) and the breakfast room was cold. The bedrooms were warm. When you go, ask them to take the rubber sheets protectors off the bed. I used to Stay at Hotel Nikko, but the service has dropped and prices have increased. So no more Nikko...I'll now be coming here.
