Worth Checking OutPosted Dec 15, 2013
Pros: Very large room, nice facility, 15minute walk to U line train, largest breakfast selection I've seen at any hotel in Europe, Multi-lingual staff made
Cons: No safe in the room, but one available at registration desk. Floors creaky.
Location: The Altstadt (old city) is terrific. Short ride on U79. Media Harbor is a must see. Take the elevator to the top of Rheinturm for an extraordinay view
.Beautifyl hotel with outstanding room. Hotel is conveniently located. Definately would stay again.

Interesting and comfy hotel, close to city centrePosted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice refurbished hotel, very large rooms, big oval bath, segregated sleeping area, plenty of snacks and well-stocked mini-bar ...... staff were very nice and helpful. The room was too warm however, we had to keep a window open (in December) as there is no way to regulate the temperature in the room. Also, decor a bit ''drab'', could be even nicer if decorated a bit better. And we had suite 206, right next to reception, which was a bit noisy first thing in the morning. However, it was a very nice, rather different, individual hotel and on the whole I would recommend it.

Great SuitePosted Nov 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Arrived at the hotel just before 3pm. Was told that the room wasn't ready - check in was supposed to be 3pm. Was finally allowed to have the room at 3:15pm. Not a great start !!However the room/suite was very nice - 40sq.m and VERY high ceilings - very spacious. Bath large enough for 2 people. Some fixtures were a bit worn - the bottom hinge of the bathroom door came out of the frame, door to minibar didn't close easily (it had dropped), but generally a nice room with good space an facilities. The room was rather close to reception, and therefore very noisy from time to time (ground floor room 208). Rooms need a small hall to insulate the room from outside noise. Breakfast was fine. Location is great - 3 mins to tram stop and thus access to the city centre within 10 mins. Overall would recommend.

Gigantic rooms - odd locationPosted Oct 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good independent hotel - huge rooms and good value for money. About half-way between airport and centre. Immediate neighbourhood is quite suburban - couldn't see many places to eat nearby but was only there 1 night.

Beautiful hidden villaPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved this hidden secret. It had gorgeous large rooms, very clean and comfortable and a breakfast bar to die for. Worth every penny. Only disadvantage was the lack of working wifi. Can't fault it otherwise. Definitely coming back!

Amazing hotelPosted Jul 2, 2013
An absolutely fantastic place to stay in Dusseldorf. Although it's not right in the centre, it's only a couple of miles out in a very quiet area. The centre can easily be reached using the tram which stops nearby. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with an area to relax. The service in the hotel is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I would highly recommend a stay here.

An OasisPosted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a wonderful quiet suite hotel. The rooms are huge with a raised bed area in one corner, a sitting area, a desk area and an eating area. We also had a large balcony with seating. There is a garage or parking at a reasonable cost however we always found space in front of the hotel on the road. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. I would not hesitate to book the hotel next time we visit Dusseldorf.

Villa ViktoriaPosted May 27, 2013
Pros: The sweets at the entrance and cakes! lol!
Cons: The two single beds
Location: Round the corner from a shop and an Irish pub. Taxis on call to take you to the Altstadt (10 Euros)
Asked for a double room and got two single beds that couldn't be locked together!! Apart from that, superb and would go again!

Excellent staff and extra large rooms.Posted May 27, 2013
Pros: The friendly staff and extra spacious rooms.
Location: Quiet neighbourhood.
This was a beautiful hotel in a quiet area of the city with an easy 30 minute walk to the hub of the old city. The rooms were enormous. The staff were very accommodating and always smiling. The breakfast was plentiful and had a lot of variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
