Pros: room & lobby size.
Cons: Hot water ran out at peak shower time.
No hot water for shower at peak times. Other than that, rooms and lobby were roomy and comfortable

It was a nice stayPosted Oct 19, 2011
Location: Boyton Beach just north on 61 is a nice place to stop. Of course Glensheen is interesting.
The check in person Ryan was really nice and helpful. He offered to carry my moms luggage up the stairs (no elevator as its only 2 levels) It was an easy check in and out. The rooms were fine, the walls a little thin but nothing unusual. The view from the rooms if you were on the back side was of the roof of the restraunt that is attached and we were on 2nd floor. The 1st floor probably had the view of the brick wall. So tell them you want to face the parking lot. All in all the stay was fine, the breakfast is pretty good. You can find nicer places for more money at Canal park but if you just want a nice place to stay not downtown for a reasonable price this hotel works.

As a female traveler traveling alone I chose this hotel because of what I read about it. After staying I have to say it was exactly as I had expected. Very clean, friendly desk attendant and when asked for shopping info he gave me verbal and written directions. Very well satisfied I would stay there again. Good rates too!

Would rather stay at Canal Park - but they were all booked and prices too high during prime times.Posted Aug 18, 2010

Beware of room assignmentPosted Aug 5, 2010
For the most part, this hotel was ok. My problem was with the fact that my room was the closest to the attached restaurant/banquet facility. I checked in around 4 pm and settled into my room. I left for a few hours and when I returned around 10 pm the front desk clerk caught me on the way to my room and told me that there was a wedding going on at the restaurant and that my room was affected by the noise. She said that the music would be playing until MIDNIGHT and told me that if it bothered me I should let them know at the desk. I tried to sleep but the vibration of the music was loud and annoying. I went to the front desk and let them know. they said they would go over to the rest. and ask them to turn down the music. The music may have been turned down, BUT, the bass (vibration) did not get any better. I basically tossed and turned and did not fall asleep until after midnight. Very annoying and frustrating!!! The hotel was full so I could not be moved BUT I felt that I had been taken advantage of - WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED UPON CHECK-IN and allowed to make a choice then?
