“Great Two Harbors location to stay”

Hotel was easy to locate (right on Hwy 61). Check-in was done efficiently, as was check-out. My room was clean and my bed comfortable. No problems with noise or hearing people in the rooms next door. Staff was friendly and very helpful. When I mentioned that a fan was blowing cold air in the breakfast area, it was dealt with right away. Loved the make-your own Belgium waffles. Thick, crispy and yummy! Charming restaurants as well as familiar Pizza Hut & Subway just 5 mins. by car There's a gas station across from the hotel, which was convenient before hitting the road to return the rental car. If you're coming to Duluth for the Grandma's Marathon as I did, a shuttle bus to take you to the start and bring you back, stops here.

“Quality on the North Shore”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and were very satisfied. It was conveniently located in Two Harbors, MN, which isn't difficult as the thow is quite small. My wife had several conference calls/Webinar sessions to participate in and the room was convenient for this, with fast wireless, good cell phone reception and a desk to work at. The room and hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The only negative is the lack of an elevator. My wife walks with a cane and the stairs to our second floor room were a bit difficult. I should have requested a first floor room but forgot to. The staff would have been happy to give us a first floor room had one been available. While this hotel in not directly on the lake, it is the nicest hotel in Two Harbors proper (try Larsmont Cottages just south of Two Harbors for great lake views). We'll gladly stay here when in Two Harbors.

quiet and clean. a little pricey but there isn't a lot to choose from so they probably take advantage of this.

“Reasonable hotel at a reasonable rate”

My wife and I and our 5-year-old daughter stayed here two nights while visiting friends in Two Harbors and it was a perfectly adequate hotel for that. Free internet in the lobby was a plus and breakfast was standard for America it seems -- do-it-yourself waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, donuts and other sweet bread products. Friendly staff and an on-site, coin-operated laundry, though the iron wasn't very good. Decent, basic accomodation.
