Liked the location (quiet). But disappointed.Posted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Liked the location: it was quiet. Restaurant food was good.
Cons: Fix the water supply for the tub/shower and improve the hot water problem.
Location: The location was good. Liked the surroundings and quiet atmosphere.
The hotel was nice, but the room we had was disappointing. The water in the tub/shower would not turn on. The stopper in the sink did not work, couldn't fill the sink to wash and the water took forever to get hot. Also had a problem when we went for breakfast at 7 am. Had a long wait to be seated - seems there was only one wait person in the restaurant at that hour.

Very old, good location.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Nice location, clean
Cons: It needs a lot of updating
This hotel was nothing special, but I booked it because it was a good price for a place near Duluth. The room was non-smoking but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. When I checked out, the place charged me $35 in taxes and fees, above and beyond the listed price--I might as well have stayed at a Marriott or something nicer, as those are much higher than I'm used to.

Very good experiencePosted Oct 12, 2013
We were just looking for a decent place to spend the night. Wanted it to be clean, comfortable and affordable. This exceeded our expectations for the price. I would definitely recommend it for a clean and comfortable stop

Loved the location and the hotel was nice too.Posted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, pool area was very nice.
Cons: Update comforters, curtains, carpet
Location: Walking path along the lake shore Duluth would be the best bet if you are looking for a lot to do
We were looking for a hotel near UW Superior as we had to drop my freshman off for WOW weekend. This is really close and right on the water, which I loved. The check in process went well after they found our reservation. We often have trouble with this as we have a 2 part last name and computers do crazy things with it. We got a room on the first floor near the pool, nice location. The room smelled really clean and looked clean too. Some of the things are dated such as the carpet, curtains and bed spreads. The bathroom had nice tile that I really liked and a great shower head. It had a drop ceiling though and found that a little unusual. The carpet was lose fitting when we walked in, and should be restretched if not replaced. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Overall the room was dated, but clean and comfortable.
