“Downtown Duluth”

This motel was in a good area to get to the downtown bars and nightlife. Room was clean and staff were great.

“Convenient location”

This hotel is in a great location in which to launch your excursion around the city of Duluth, MN. Just a few blocks from the canal park and numerous restaurants. Park you vehicle at the hotel, and walk. Saves on parking costs and allows you to really take in the downtown sights and sounds. It's not your 5-star hotel, but very comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A simple continental breakfast is served just minutes from your room in the hotel lobby. You are able to enjoy your time away and not break the bank.

“Clean & comfortable”

The Best Western Downtown Duluth Minesota was conveniently located and easy to get to. The Superior Lake harbor was only 8 blocks away. The price reflected the value for our money. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Enjoyable experience”

The hotel's location makes it very convenient to be able to walk along downtown Duluth and then on to Canal Park. The room was clean, comfortable and provided a nice respite after a day out and about. The morning continental breakfast ws excellent. Nice variety and just what was needed to start the day off right. All of the staff were friendly, pleasant and quite helpful. It was an excellent stay.

“Very friendly staff and clean”

Only stayed one night (10/29) - the gal working the desk on check in date was awesome. Super nice, sweet and helpful. please pass that along to her. The morning gal also very nice. Room was clean and mostly comfortable. My only complaint for comfort is that heat had to be on or off and would get to warm when on and a little chilly when off.

“Right Location and Price”

The hotel was older, but overall it was clean and I felt safe. the location is just up from the harbor and the sights of Duluth. Definetley walking distance. The price was much better than others in the neighborhood-especially if you are only looking for a place to sleep.

Clean, cute. Had a super small shower (no bathtub) but overall it was a nice experience!

“One of my favorites in Duluth”

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel seemed to be full, it was surprisingly quiet. The location was within walking distance of Canal Park and the boardwalk along Lake Superior. It was very affordable and will definitely be at the top of my list for accommodations the next time I visit Duluth.

“Good value type of place”

I stayed here one night before the marathon. I was surprised it was more of a motel setup, with the rooms around the parking lot but the price was right. Breakfast and free internet on the lobby computer is always nice. Pretty sure you wouldn't want to stay here if you hated stairs though.
