Clean, quiet & dog friendlyPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, cleanliness and quiet. Coffee, fruit and breakfast bar appreciated, too.
Cons: The toasters took a long time, maybe they need replacing.
Location: The Lakewalk, Rose Garden, Canal Park, Park Point, the Northshore.
We had a great stay. The beds were firm but not bricks, room was clean & pleasant. Being able to bring our puppy dog made the trip a blast for us!

Place to crash for the nightPosted Jul 29, 2014
We stayed here after the All Pints North festival in Duluth. If I were looking for a nice room to spend time in, I wouldn't have chosen this facility. For the purpose of having a place to sleep after a long day in the sun, this was suitable. It's outdated, but the bed was comfortable.

Easy location for visiting various locations.Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Location: Mentioned above
We found the location where getting to and from the various sites was easy. we visited numerous sites and had no trouble getting around. Between London Road and Superior we got to all the locations we wanted. Two and a half days of touring wears one out. May do it again next year.

Small, clean and enough for our needs.Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Friendly and clean
Cons: Air conditioning.
Location: Need to drive to most things.
Great stay - nice friendly staff. Room was small, but enough room to move around and to sleep. Had a fridge which we love. Just had problems regulating the air conditioner.

Okay but not greatPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: The carpet was damp.
Okay for the price. Wouldn't stay again. Breakfast was good. But rooms felt a bit dingy.

We reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights (6 adults and 4 children) for the Duluth fireworks and site seeing, the staff was excellent in helping us get 3 rooms close together.

Marginal, too expensive, few amenitiesPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Proximity to attractions.
Cons: New carpet, new bedding, updating. An elevator, air conditioning in common areas. Resurfacing the parking lot.
Location: Close to downtown and waterfront activities. Close to interstate.
In need of updating, on 3rd floor with no elevator. Hallways and breakfast room not air conditioned. Parking lousy...lot too small and poorly lit. Overall, an uncomfortable experience.

Downtown duluth. Convenient location.Posted Jul 23, 2014
Very inexpensive but even then not worth the money. Old and in desperate need of updates in service and amenities. Didn't feel clean either. The only staff we saw was at check in and he was extremely helpful and friendly.

Excellent pricePosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Price ,value and service .
Location: We went to Glensheen mansion ,the Irvin grain ship tour and the train museum. We also went to Miller hill mall .All of these are a short drive away
We spent one night at this hotel and found it to be an excellent place for a reasonable price. The breakfast was "free" and limited but acceptable .I would stay here again for the location and the very reasonable price. Staff by the way were excellent !
