“This hotel Dumas, Texas was clean and personnel pleasant.”

Only real complaint is that the free breakfast items provided could have been a little more healthy. I took a banana and cup of coffee before leaving.

“It is Dumas after all”

The hotel was fine, but as is typical of hotels, the walls are thin. My two small children and I arrived and went for a swim in the pool that needs some work. Not too bad, but tiles falling off, etc. Went to dinner at a mediocre texmex restaurant because a lot of others were closed on Saturday, which I found very strange. As the night wore on, more and more people kept showing up and since the walls are thin, you could hear EVERYTHING! I think the hotel is fine for what it is, but the dining in Dumas definitely left something to be desired.

“You get what you pay for”

This hotel is your classic American whatever. The cleanliness, bed and breakfast are utilitarian but definitely nothing special.

“Nice older style hotel with good rates!”

It appears to be an older hotel but seems to be kept in good shape, it does have the older style outside doors which we dont really like. I'll give it a 3 1/2 - 4 rating out of a 5.

“Reasonable rates in Dumas, TX?”

This hotel was above average for the city it was located in. The rates were reasonable by comparison. What I don't understand is why all the hotel rates are so high (comparatively) in Dumas, TX. This is not exactly a prime visitor destination. There are a lot of hotels in this rather small city and they are all about the same price range.

“Clean and comfortable. Nice pool and breakfast.”

We stayed here one night while traveling cross country. Clean room and comfortable beds. Good service, really good breakfast and great indoor pool. Several restaurants are within close driving distance.

“Windsor Inn”

Pros- Complementary breakfast was nice and the room clean. Cons- Beds were like sleeping on the floor with sheets (stained my back some) and they could use a few more cable movie options (only one HBO channel and no in-room movies to choice from). Pretty basic room for the price, overall. Next time to Dumas, I will probably try a different hotel- mainly for the bed.

“Below average”

Tv didn't work, lots of road noise, uncomfortable bed. The staff was nice upon check in, but the room was below average and the road noise kept us up most of the night. We were located in a room in the middle of the hotel and were not very close to the road. Would not recommend for those who want a good nights sleep. Not sure why this hotel got a rating of 4.
