Econo Lodge Near Quantico Marine Base

Desk staff not knowledgeable, stairs to room filthy

I was very please with my stay overall. The room was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff that I encountered were the friendliest people. If I ever have a need for a nice quiet place to get away again for just a night or 2, I would pick this place first.

Hotel staff very friendly. Room was very neat and clean, good heat and water pressure. Several restaurants within walking distance. Nothing fancy, but for the rate, a very nice hotel. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

I am easy to please for a hotel. Give me a clean bathroom, sheets, and towels. This one was that, and the expedia reservation/prepay made check in and out fast.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, THE BREAKFAST THAT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY AT THE HOTEL WAS AWFUL. 1ST THE ORANGE JUICE DISPENSER WAS EMPTY, COFFEE WAS COLD, NO MILK IN CONTAINER,YOUR CHOICE OF FOOD WAS VERY LIMITED, I WAS NOT LOOKING FOR A BUFFET . I HAD TO GO AND GET THE LADY AT THE DESK TO TAKE OF THIS ISSUE, ALSO THE CLOCK RADIO IN MY ROOM WAS BROKEN,I TOLD THE LADY ABOUT THAT AND NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT, WHY IS THERE NO HAIR DRYER IN THE ROOM? EVER OTHER HOTEL I STAYED HAD A HAIR DRYER.

Not great. We requested no smoking room. It said no smoking but the hallway was full with the smell of smoke. Not great at all. Will not recommend this Econo Lodge Quantico Marine, VA

Had a bad smell and few tv Channels but is good price.

Econo Lodge is just that, a a hotel with an economic price. My expectations were low as was the price for the room, so you're going to get what you pay for. My visit didn't require any bells and whistles of a 5 star hotel, and for my purpose I was completely happy with having a room and a place to sleep well before a bike race. This is my third visit to this hotel and it has been a reliable every time. Meaning I've had no issues in terms with the staff, who I thought was pretty awesome, nor did I have any issues with the room itself. It's an older hotel, so expect an older hotel. It's cheap so don't expect fine dining and room service. Also if you're looking for upscale, forget it. If you're looking for a hotel where you can rest your eyes, take a shower, and leave then this is the place for you. Over all I was very satisfied for the price.
