“A typical budget hotel”
This was in a convenient location right off the interstate. There was a grocery store and fast food restaurants close by. It wasn't anything fancy, but met my needs for a weekend stay. It was clean, the a/c was good on a hot, humid weekend. It was your typical budget hotel, no frills, but it did have a recliner next to the bed which was a nice way to lay on the laptop f watch tv. It had a coffee maker an coffee also.
“Not bad for the money.”
The 2 dbl bed, non-smoking room was small. The vacuuming wasn't very thorough. Beds need new mattresses, Pillows are all shapes & sizes. We had 2 adults, 1 teen and 2 small kids and it was just barely big enough. The lobby only offers 1 table, 2 chairs so you have to bring your food back to your room. The breakfast was surprisingly more than adequate, though 9am is rather early to end it. There were people drinking at a picnic bench at the back of the parking lot at 10pm, which didn't leave us feeling too safe when we returned to the hotel. Overall, we'd stay there again because of the low price and basic cleanliness. The light bulb in the bathroom needed to be changed, so it flickered constantly, but because we weren't there much, we didn't request that it be changed.
“good for short stay”
good for a one night stay. close to the highway and a krogers in the backyard. old style hotel without lift.
“Good deal”
nothing really expetional but great deal for the price.
“Good stay in Dunbar”
The Super 8 in Dunbar was conveniently located close to I-64, easy access on and off. The beds were very comfortable, room was clean. The check-in was quick and the personnel were courteous.
“Not recommended”
This motel is old and dated. The bathtub was chipped, the rooms were not cleaned properly, sheets weren't changed, supplies were not replenished. Smelled very smoky and old. The area is not that nice either.
