WE STAY HERE 2 TO 3 TIMES A YEAR FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS. IT IS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. IF YOU HAVE A CONCERN, THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL ABOUT HELPING.

“Awful Experience”

- Our room was not ready - The bed was still slept in and unmade from the guest staying in the room before us. - The bathroom was dirty and had hair all over the toilet seat. - The hotel in general had a foul smell - It was next to a fast food place where roudy kids hung around all night, leaving us to feel unsafe with our car in the parking lot. - We checked in and check back out within 5 minutes.

“Not too bad! Will stay there again!”

Although the area wasn't much to look at, the hotel was very clean. The rooms were large and the bedding seemed new. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Only 5 minutes from Tri-States Casino. Will definitely stay there again.

Very resonable price. Room clean and linens changed daily. Quiet & peaceful. Exceeded my expectations.

“Suited my needs”

Stayed in the property before a golf tournament about 20 minutes away. The hotel was perfect for my needs. It was close to the tournament site and provided a easy on/off to the interstate. As it was undergoing construction on one of the floors, I cannot knock it for being a bit rough around the edges. It was close to a Shoney's and a grocery store.

“Adequate Lodging”

This hotel was completely adequate for our needs in Charleston. The free breakfast was not the greatest. The neighborhood was a little sketchy (there were a couple of arson fires set nearby on Saturday night). It is only about 5 miles to the casino, which is why we went. The price was much lower than hotels closer to the casino.

“Clean room”

The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were like cumulous clouds though, like they had been put through a washer. We were glad we had brought our own. The night attendant was not welcoming and neither was the hall which is in need of an upgrade in carpet and air conditioning. They don't have breakfast until 7am. We needed to get off fast so we didn't try the breakfast.

“Not a bad room for the price.”

Front desk personel were very profesional. The only problem was if you sat on the edge of the bed, the matress would rise up off the bed. There was also no refrigerator in the room.

“Not impressed”

I paid less money the week before for a much more comfortable and enjoyable place, which also had a pool, workout gym, better breakfast food available and in a nicer setting. The room temperature was hard to control and the smell of the room was unpleasant. Also the bed was too hard and uncomfortable. Only one ice machine in the building, on the floor below.
